I understand the backlash the game is getting and the reveal itself was very tone deaf but all that aside, it actually looks like a cool Diablo game for mobile.
It is made by a company that already made some Diablo clones before but hopefully, with Blizzard on the team as well, it's gonna be decent and there will be no need to install Diablo clones anymore, which all pretty much suck on Android.

As society progresses and marches forward into that bright gray rainbow of equality, pedophilia may or may not be promoted as an acceptable lifestyle choice, and not considered morally reprehensible, but rather not only fine, but also protected and stood up for, much like homosexuality and transgenderism is considered "right".

I do not think grown-ups should ever have sex with underage children nowadays, especially if they are not married to them. I know that in the past, young teens were given in marriage, but as it stands in our current modern society, we shouldn't change the age of concent. This would be a bit like changing 'blue for boys' 'pink for girls' back to the orginal 'pink for boys' 'blue for girls'.

In medieval Europe a common marriage age for nobility was 12. Someone has also informed me that kids were: "fucking each other right and left right up until internet porn because so easy a 9 year old could find it."

I don't think this is accurate, mainly because child marriage was for political ties, to enliven a family's wealth, or because nobles did it for these reasons, and the poorer people adopted it not knowing or able to grasp and enact the full "why".(as well as getting rid of an extra mouth to feed by marrying her off.)

The age of concent is there for a reason. It doesn't make kids nuns...

Change My View.

I see so many people all over this Subreddit talking about how they're not going to spend any money on it because it costs money to get into the game and even more money to actually play it and yadda yadda. People are forgetting the 10 packs and 5 event tickets that comes with it. People are making it seem like you spend $20, launch the game, and are met with a screen that says "Pay more money to get into the main menu."

You get 10 packs and 5 event tickets. I guarantee you that after opening the 10 packs and using the 5 even tickets Artifact will have won you over by then. If not then hey, it was only 20 bucks, you spend that or more on stupid shit all the time, I know I do lol.

If you're reading this and you've been visiting this subreddit for the last couple of months you are most likely going to be purchasing Artifact when it comes out lol

Why not talk instead about the game itself and try to contribute to the idea instead of just pouting like a child because muh gaem cost tew mush.

I'm not saying lets let Valve get away with ripping us all off but lets at least wait for the game to come out to see how exactly the economy plays out. I think we will all be really surprised. I HIGHLY doubt that Valve will put so much effort into a game and then let the game goto sh*t.

(I also do not really play Valve games though so I don't know Valve's habits as well as some of you, but they can't be as bad as EA lol)

I'm actually really interested in Artifact (outside of no ladder I have no problem with the game itself) but it's really hard to justify it.

I't not just about affordability, but it really makes the game less appealing compared to buying almost anything else in steam. Even blizzard has regional pricing (although not as generous as steam)

I understand the issue with the market obviously, but still, they could've made it so that market is also locked by region.

[Just a rant]

I switch between iOS and Android a lot. However more recently I've been going back to iOS more and more. They both have they're pro and cons, but I think it's time for Android to change or have a rebirth so to speak.

Hardware between iPhones and Android phones have plateaued. Specs are almost identical and overall quality of things like camera and audio components are at times identical. Some situations one out performs the other. Now it's more towards the software that they need to focus on. The base UI and some underlying software framework need to improve. Sure all 6 more cameras or a 3D glasses, but besides that. The basic hardware are the same performance. varying etc.

Android offers near endless amount of variations and customizing options. All that is great and all but it's starting to show it's age. By that I mean Android as the core of the experience. It's improving don't get me wrong, but there are some examples that show it's age or just lack of fluidity. UI hiccups here and there or apps not performing as they should. Either it's the developers coding or reliance on older api for compatibility.

Nationally cluttered UI that unless maintained and meticulously combed by the user while seep into chaos. OEMs for the most part are focusing on simple UI elements, but eventually the apps we use start taking over. Notifications everywhere by default, icons unless shaped to fit into the launcher have varyingng design languages. It's this customization by the user, oem, and app developer that unless dictated by the user starts to mismatch. Google constantly making refinments to it's recommend design at times gets in the way when developers finally embrace their last iteration. OEMs then add their on flair or the app developer. While on iOS is fluid more often then not.

The iOS UI is old and outdated and needs a redesign. All these years of the same UI with very few changes like color palettes or a a more flatten design. It's smooth because it hasn't changed. Apps follow for the most part the same overall flow. Notifications are subtle except for the mess of a notification center. Grouping finally came but some apps manage to bug the system and don't group at all along with the same chronological order for everything. iOS needs a lot of work, but all these years of fine adjustment to both the UI and underlying code have kept it as an efficient system.

iOS still has it's quirks or just annoying tricks to get around simple issues. Apples recent disregard for quality checking it's software before pushing it to the public has brought about all kinds of bugs that manage to show up at the worse moments. More often then not however it's smooth and consistent. Whatever is next for Android hopefully Google introduces more control with what comes after Android. Or at the very least sticks to one idea for Android and perfects it. Without giving up halfway on a design language or messaging app.

What are your opinions? Let's me adults here please, fanboy all you want however keep it informative or open to discussion.
