    TCAF has a ton going for it, not in the least the fact it's free admission! So it gets a mix of curious casuals and diehard indie fans. I think more small press cons should be zero-admission, tbh, but I get why that's rare. No one's made of money.

    With regards to TCAF is that because it’s largely “get a ton of mostly indie comics creators together in one place” and focused on that without a lot of the extra con nonsense, or is there something else about it?

    But frankly, some cons are just too small for to do. Little zine shows, one day local shows, etc. We wouldn't cover costs at shows like that. Getting a pallet/rep out somewhere and housed for the duration is like.. $2-3k.
