    This is unacceptable. A piecemeal approach to immigration will never work, it leaves cracks that innocent children fall through. We need a clean DREAM act + comprehensive immigration reform. We cannot afford to play political games with people’s lives.

    No law requires this — separating parents and children is your administration’s choice. Hundreds of kids as young as 18 months are in danger of suffering lifelong trauma. We won’t let you shift the blame or use families as bargaining chips for your wall.

    Thanks, Brandon! Usually, it’s California volunteers who head out of state to lend a hand. Nice to welcome Dems in for a change!

    Had a little down time on my visit from Vermont, so decided to knock some doors for candidates here in Orange County (where a congressional majority could end up being decided). Also got my mom and her partner to fill out their absentee ballot.
