Dude, the guy operating the drone won't even see an eagle coming.

It's an apex predator for a reason.

Drone guy can only see what the little camera can see, and that little camera is usually mounted up front, or on the bottom of the drone. That leaves a huge blind spot. Everything from behind or above he can't see.

Even if he is looking at the drone with his own eyes, the drone is too far away for him to judge distance, speed and angle of an eagle (if he can even see it coming, which I doubt).

I'll remind you again, eagles are apex predators, which means, top of the food chain. These pesky little plastic drones are no match for them. At all.

Pretty sure the research teams and authorities of the French, Dutch and whatever other country has started doing this, have looked at every scenario and every type of drone that is commonly used and made their decision that this could be done.

The handlers of these eagles won't allow them to get hurt, especially since eagles are on the endangered species list in a lot of countries.

I know it's fun to think drones are like some super weapon (especially since a lot of people own them), but have you ever seen an eagle up close? These things are HUGE. And the drones they will target are tiny consumer type drones, not military type drones.

Even if they targeted custom type drones, my money would be on the eagle. It's apex predator for a reason you know.
