What was your achievement this week? It could be anything! A new 2k PB? Get a good lift at the gym? Or even your first time capsizing a single!

Holy shit the netherlands almost came through, can’t wait to see what happens at tokyo
Following a few disappointing performances last season, our coaches have decided to add another training session to our program. Before we had 9 sessions per week, with Friday as a rest day, now we have 10 sessions per week.
Our coaches justification for it is that we get rest days before and after every regatta. Normally I trust my coaches judgement (he’s a PE teacher) but I’m starting to doubt him on this. What are your thoughts on this? Does your program do anything similar?
They’ve been the surprise of the season for me. Steadily increasing speed of existing talents; steady increase in the quantity of world class rowers through a solid U23 pipeline. Very impressive. What’s working for Antonio Maurogiovanni that wasn’t working in his previous stints in Australia and the Netherlands (which was dramatic)? Has he changed his approach? Or is it just that here there is buy-in?
