Drastic change needs to happen to fix NFL officiating from being the embarrassment that it currently is. Three steps that can be made in my opinion to start moving the needle:

  • Replace Al Riveron. I'm sure any name I mention here as the replacement will get backlash but I would see if they can get Steratore back from CBS.

  • Hold officials more accountable. Human error is okay, it's part of sports and everyone knows that and accepts it, but to sit back and defend every call and act like it was the right call is not fine.

  • Pay refs more money, if they are going to be more accountable, they need more pay. The best refs we have left to get more money working for the networks.

"Purr-fect Performance"

During the Monday night game between the Cowboys and Giants, fans were treated to a cat becoming the feature running-back of the contest.

He showed excellent mobility and even better change of direction. He was just acquired by the Carolina Panthers to become the complement to feature back Christian McCaffrey, but more production like his debut could see him push for greater playing time.
