Zdravkovic was first detained after his partner contacted the police re worries about his mental health. Instead of providing him with mental health support, the Home Office detained him indefinitely in an immigration detention centre where he susequently died. This is shameful.

While we wait for inquest of Amir Siman-Tov, a Morrocan Jew who died in UK detention centre, inquest jury has ruled that death of Branko Zdravkovic in Verne detention centre was due to suicide. Staff knew about suicide risk but didnt report under Rule 35
