But my real issue is that they moved it for faulty reasons. If Hogan was lean R before, he's at a minimum no better off because Dems picked Jealous. Jealous will boost Dem turnout, also benefitting downballot Dems.

Only number to look at is the incumbent %, never the margin, esp. when the challenger is less well known. An incumbent at 50 is in a danger zone regardless how far ahead, esp. when they're on the wrong end of a wave year. In 1994 Dems polling even a hair below 50 all lost.
