Accepted international boundaries of Medinat Yisrael don't exactly map onto those of Eretz Yisrael. Some places, in occupied territories (per int'l law, see above) are important in Bible/Jewish history (eg Hebron, Bethlehem, Shiloh). Some are in MY but not EY (like Eilat) (7/10)

Big news from Israel today. For those who have not been following: After Netanyahu failed to form a governing coalition, the Knesset has just voted to dissolve itself and call new elections, just 7 weeks after the last one. Never happened before in Israeli history.
