to see the ALMA radio telescopes at > 5000 m you first need to pass a medical test (blood pressure & saturation) Um die ALMA Radioteleskope auf > 5000 m zu sehen muss man einen Medizinischen Check (Blutdruck, Sättigung) bestehen

Yesterday we got a tour of the construction site for the Extremely Large Telescope. It will be the largest optical telescope in the world when it's finished. It's being built on a remote desert top in Chile by with views of the Andes. It will see its first light in 2025!
