If you're able to, by all means, . But deleting Facebook is not going to solve anything. For one, Facebook still tracks you even if you're not on Facebook. Also, it has over 2 billion users worldwide. The only way to fix Facebook is to break it up and regulate it.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez १९ डिसें
“It’s not that women haven’t had the will to respond to being stepped on by powerful men; it’s that they haven’t had the numbers. What’s scary about Ocasio-Cortez is that she’s acting like a politician with power. And that provokes an almost primal fear.”

Understandable, but Facebook can lose 15 million users in the US and it won't matter all that much. Deleting Facebook is a personal choice, and probably a wise one. But the only way to really solve the Facebook problem is to have politicians and regulators actually do their jobs

I am not against deleting Facebook. Absolutely, . But that is a personal choice (one that not everyone is privileged enough to make), whereas the solution to Facebook is political

If you delete Facebook? They won't care so much. Breaking them up, however, would mean separating Facebook from Instagram and WhatsApp.

great reporting. First real example i can remember of WaPo really writing a piece that puts Amazon in a critical light. Kudos to for really reading through the litigation.

All this talk of where the FTC was/is when it comes to Facebook makes me think of something said here: "The FTC is a do-nothing institution"

Big deal: DC attorney general is suing Facebook over Cambridge Analytica. The first major effort by US regulators on this.

And the answer would be, of course: the cops are all angling for a job at Facebook or at one of the various law firms and lobbying firms that service it
