For the avoidance of doubt, here is what the Mail alleged. Jeremy laid wreaths at the graves of Munich Terrorists. Difficulty for the Mail is that these terrorists are buried in Libya & this photo is taken in Tunisia. Jeremy commemorated 47 killed in Israeli air strike on Tunisia

Jeremy Corbyn said no such thing. Those who carried out the Munich massacre are not buried in the Palestinian National Cemetery in Tunis and there was no ceremony for them.

Or Benjamin Netanyahu unveiling plaques and praising the men who murdered 28 Britons in Jerusalem. The option always exists for a journalist to embark upon the investigative or empirical route. Question is whether they have the courage to take it.

The Munich Terrorists are buried in Libya. Not Tunisia. Is it too much to ask Jeremy Corbyn’s enemies to do some basic fact checking before they drag well meaning & rightly concerned people along on a merry dance. Deplorable levels of journalistic ethics.

Excellent from Jeremy Corbyn. Labour will find a solution on the IHRA issue that protects Jews from antisemitism but allows people to criticise Israel for the actions in Gaza. Assurances are being sought & a compromise will be reached.
