Holding the shattered helmets of three colleagues from Violet who were killed in Idleb recently when their ambulance was hit by an airstrike. In total solidarity with the brave humanitarians who risk their lives every day to help civilians in the world’s deadliest war zone

Alarmed at the relentless attacks on populated areas & civilian hospitals/schools in northern Hama and Idleb, NW Syria. UN Secretary-General has called for an “urgent de-escalation” and for “all parties to uphold international humanitarian law and protect civilians”

Treacherous conditions in . Even & trained team find it extremely challenging. This is no place to live especially for women & children. People of Rukban are stranded for 2 years. A long-term, safe, voluntary & dignified solution need to be found.

Shocked by this latest killing of an aid worker in Idleb, Syria. Part of a disturbing trend of increased kidnappings, extortion and attacks affecting health workers and humanitarian staff in the northwest part of Syria

Sadly, fires like this one - that left six dead and 800 without shelter - are all too common in the over-crowded camps in State.

: As the report says, “The question shouldn’t be whether Rakhine & Muslims will live together, but rather how they will live together. Reintegration, not segregation, is the best path to long-term stability & development in Rakhine State.”
