My sense EU will breathe short but genuine sigh of relief at Russo-Turkish deal. US position more complex: Zero-sum ground game means Ankara-Moscow rapproachement implicitly exposes US in NE. No way out of condundrum unless one side folds or US-Turkey reconcile their positions.
