ריקי, אין ספק שהמצב השתפר בעשורים האחרונים מבחינה כלכלית (האם זה קשור לליכוד? כמה סטארטאפים מכר ביבי?). לפני 30 שנה התל"ג של ישראל היה נמוך פי 10 והיו כאן רק 3.5 מיליון איש. ברור שבמצב זה לא ניתן היה לצפות לפרויקט תשתיות גדול. היום זה כבר בהישג יד.

אין לנו צבא אחר, ואם יש בעיה שאתה מודע לה עדיף לנסות לתקן מאשר לוותר. הצבא הזה הוא הדבר היחיד שעומד בין המדינה שלך, ברוחב 20 הק"מ, לבין מאות מיליוני השכנים החביבים.

הוא אכן חלאה. העניין הוא שאין מניעה שגם חלאה תפיץ את השטויות שלה. הקו צריך לעבור בהסתה לאלימות. במקומות בהם ג'ונס חצה את הקו הזה אפשר למחוק את הפוסטים המסויימים האלה. אחרת אין לזה סוף. כל אחד הוא חלאה בעיני מישהו.

Reuters is usually better than this. BBC on the other hand seems to think that the leaks are the problem, not the consistant attempts to withhold information from the public regarding such crimes and their perpetrators.

The NYT and many other news outlets do this all the time: painting a completely skewed picture to fit the narrative.
People usually don't notice until the subject being covered is one they are personally familiar with.
