VoiceOver HomePod talks as well as it listens.
VoiceOver can describe the touch controls on HomePod as you use them. If you set up HomePod with an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that uses VoiceOver, your VoiceOver settings from that device will automatically transfer to HomePod. The top surface navigation works as it does on other iOS devices, so you can change the volume and play and pause your music without needing to see the screen.

And with Siri Shortcuts, you can now run complex, multi-action commands through simple phrases custom-designed to fit your needs.
Touch Accommodations Make every touch and gesture your own.
Tap the top of HomePod to play, pause, or skip a song or adjust the volume. If you have trouble using the touch controls on HomePod, use Touch Accommodations to control how long you touch before it’s recognized or whether repeat touches are ignored. So you can put your finger on the HomePod top surface and move to the item you want without inadvertently performing a separate action.
