Hi TED, I love this app but now I can't open it at all! It says "unfortunately TED has stopped" every time I try to open it. I have an Android - Sony Xperia Z3. Please help!

Would be nice if it continued playing while I worked on other app.. (Like Google Music does).. Because I don't always need to see the video while listening to the talk

App is great but u have to add the feature to speed up the videos like 1.5x or 2x like youtube has...some videos are very long and u can't watch them on 1x...

Hi there, we are happy to announce that with our latest app version 3.1.9 you can now save your downloaded talks to the SD card on your phone on Android 6 or above! Enjoy! I updated the app, hoping that I can listen to the Ted Radio Hour without having my screen on all the time, since it's just audio (actually it's still a video but it just shows the same picture all the time). Nonetheless now after the update it shows me way less radio hour podcasts than before. I don't know how to find the other ones.
This app keeps buffering and freezing 4 mins into a video the picture stops showing up. Disappointed.
I dint rate it 5 stars just because I think that they should add a section that states what language the talk is in Other than that i love ted talks
TED you r simply amazing!....The app is beautifully working...very much user friendly nd engaging app.....Love You "TED" keep it up!
Can't listen to podcast with the app in the background or screen off

Cool! Always loved TED talks, nice interface too. The only thing though is I wish that the videos would play even when the app is not active, if that makes sense? Especially the TED radio hours. Since they're just audio, I would love to not have to keep the app on screen whilst I listen to them. But otherwise very decent.
The "Save Location" only shows "Internal Storage" even though I have a 64gb MicroSD card that other apps use. I'm on Android 5.0.1 (is that the problem?). Everything else is great.

Yes - we're sorry, we were only able to support this feature on Android 6+. Great app. Love to be able to pick something quick, informative and interesting. Please add feature where the talk can be sped up to 1.5 or double speed (similar to YouTube feature)
Had problems opening the app, but it seems like the problem has resolved itself. Great app with great content.

Nice app but it would be better if we could control the quality of video so as to save our data
Download option is not working and consume too much even in short length video while viewing online.
Considering the present day scenario where the youth has been engulfed by alcohol and drugs and other indulgences. This particular concept of TED acts as a device of redemption. A must have for everyone. ☮️
