My dear friend Yumna Khan and I recently co-founded Stranger Magic Productions. We’re two women-of-color creators bringing you diverse, high-quality original series.

I cofounded a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with my best friend called Fashion Fighting Famine (2011-2015). We produced annual charity fashion shows to encourage creativity and sisterhood, promote Muslim-women-led small businesses, and create and empower our own images of Muslim women.
