Red Hat® Cloud Infrastructure enables you to build and manage a private cloud environment.
Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure Highlights
What is Cloud Infrastructure?
Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure enables you to build and manage a private Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud based on datacenter virtualization and management technologies for traditional workloads. It also provides an on ramp to a highly scalable, public-cloud-like infrastructure based on Red Hat OpenStack Platform .
With Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure, you can implement an integrated infrastructure to deliver services faster, increase your IT department’s value, reduce total cost of ownership (TCO), and improve manageability.
Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure Features
Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure Tools
QuickStart Cloud Installer
The QuickStart Cloud Installer is a web-based graphical user interface for provisioning cloud products. In one straight-forward installation, you can use it to deploy a single product or multiple products, including Red Hat Virtualization, Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Satellite, and Red Hat CloudForms.
Its single, intuitive web-based graphical user interface eliminates the need to switch between different installation methods and interfaces for each product.
Feature Compatibility Matrices
A Red Hat Cloud Infrastructure or Red Hat Cloud Suite subscription provides access to multiple Red Hat products with complementary feature sets. This reference summarizes the specific interoperability and feature compatibility considerations across the various product releases to better understand supportability of specific features.
Cloud Deployment Planner
If you plan on deploying multiple products, using this tool will help you determine which product versions to deploy. The Feature Compatibility Tool will help you understand which product versions will work well together and the Life Cycle Compatibility Tool will tell you which versions have compatible support lifecycles.
