After five months: Rafah Crossing opens for exit from the Gaza Strip
August 17, 2017. Earlier this week, Egypt began allowing pilgrims to exit Gaza via Rafah Crossing, en route to Mecca. Yesterday, travel was also allowed for people who meet other criteria. The Gaza power plant has again reduced production of electricity.

August 8, 2017. There are approximately thirty thousand people on the waiting list to exit from Gaza to Egypt.
New directive at Erez Crossing: Palestinians cannot exit with food, toiletries or electronic devices
August 2, 2017. Intake coordinators at Gisha received an email detailing new guidelines for passage through Erez Crossing. The instructions have not been published anywhere official and will encumber those passing, with no clear purpose.
