The Team

Mike Vigario

VP, Finance

Mike joins our Finance Department from CommonBond (a student-leading marketplace), where he was the Director of Finance, one of the first 10 employees, and responsible (at one point or another) for all finance team tasks. At CommonBond, Mike led the company through growth including selling loans to investors in whole and through securitizations in the capital markets. Prior to CommonBond, Mike worked as an Assistant Vice President at Barclays, working in the customized credit and trust business for high net worth individuals. He worked directly under the Chief Financial Officer and the Head of Financial Control of the firm’s Americas Wealth and Investment Management division. Mike graduated Magna Cum Laude from Fairfield University with a BS in Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Alec Berkman

Head Custom Content Writer

A Jewish boy who went to a Presbyterian elementary and Quaker high school with our 44th President’s children, Alec grew up in this great nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. After listening to Joe Biden speak at Sidwell’s graduation, he boldly set out for Jesuit Georgetown University, located a full two blocks from the gated community he grew up in. Realizing he’d deprived himself of the opportunity to explore a new city, and tiring of pastels and popped collars, he transferred to Columbia to pursue a degree in economics. His esoteric athletic interests include squash, skiing, tennis, Tae Kwon Do, and skimboarding (like surfing in the wrong direction). He is fluent in a dead language, eats 5 pounds of veggies a day while reading nutrition facts for fun, and has been to 26 countries. He once won a chocolate bar from Mick Jagger for a T-shirt decorating contest on the island Mustique, where he played piano alongside the rocker's daughter in a talent show later that week. He joins Bisnow as a Custom Content Producer, and promises to make your piece even more interesting than this one!

Adriano Salucci

Business Manager, Miami & Charlotte

Bienvenido a Miami. Adriano was born and raised in the county of Dade, though his roots hail from the old country of Naples, Italy. Adriano is the Bisnow resident speedwalker, professional espresso drinker and Business Manager of the FL & Charlotte markets. He also manages Dwyane Wade's fan page. (Not really, but it's an aspiration.) With a degree in International Business, Adriano is a citizen of the world having spent time living in Sevilla (Spain), Bern (Switzerland), NYC & Los Angeles... but he knows in his heart that Miami will always be where the players come to play. With experience as a salesman, project manager, marketing manager and tennis professional, he comes to Bisnow ready to CRUSH it.

Saraf Ahmed

Custom Content Writer

Birthed in the enormous metropolis of Ruston, Louisiana, Saraf grew up approximately 30 minutes from the Duck Dynasty Robertson family and yet has never held a gun in her life. She somehow managed to escape unscathed to West Philadelphia, where she was born and raised for the next four years (albeit in the cozy UPenn bubble). Thinking she could do science, she started out bright-eyed and bushy-tailed... and premed. Failing chemistry forced her to switch over to a double major in English and History, and somewhere along the way she rediscovered writing (hence why she's joining Bisnow), discovered feminism, and nursed a destructively obsessive cinephilia. Although she dearly misses Wawa and its 24/7 access to customizable buffalo chicken subs, she's thrilled to become the living embodiment of the rom-com that every mid-2000s Kate Hudson movie has convinced her is life in NYC. In her spare time, Saraf likes to indulge her inner masochist by marathoning horror movies, mainlining cheese and jars of Nutella (not always separately), and secretly writing down weird things people say around her to use in her screenplay.

Jaime Rome

Events Coordinator

In the fall of 2016, Bisnow couldn’t decide whether to expand it’s elite events team, or to hire a security guard. By bringing Jaime on board, both moves were accomplished. The Connecticut native is a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and an expert boxer. She’s also a bit of a shopaholic and roots for the Patriots despite living in Manhattan, but no one here is brave enough to tease her about either. As a graduate of the hospitality program at UMass - Amherst, Jaime’s expertise in creating the perfect atmosphere elevates Bisnow’s already can’t-miss events.   A former leader on multiple sports fields and still a force to be reckoned with between the ropes, Jaime is pumped to be working on the coolest team in real estate.

Lana Spivak

VP, Operations

Originally born in Russia, Lana had to give up her childhood aspirations of a career in espionage (Anna Chapman eat your heart out) after her family immigrated to Chicago. It seems, however, that the harsh winter climates were nothing compared to the Siberian tundras where she grew up (which is a nice way of saying we’re all wimps). Seeking some true cold, she shipped off to study at the University of Michigan, where warm weather comes around as often as Santa Claus. Her studies — and penchant for snow — carried her further east, where she completed her master's degree at NYU. Aside from gymnastics and other stereotypical Eastern European sports (like ice fishing and writing 8,000 page novels), Lana spends plenty of quality time on her computer checking emails in the heated indoors, which makes her around-the-clock compulsiveness a great fit for the team. We hope she doesn't melt if we ever send her south of Delaware.

Bisnow has spent the last eight years putting humor and fun at the core of its b-to-b media model - and has grown rapidly.
