    In case you missed this last night. Scary to think a 12 million dollar race is mistimed---how many others aren't caught?

    Small/crucial update to the end of this piece (h/t ); more this PM. There's evidence the Pegasus was in fact a track record.

    After timing video of 2014 Donn alongside Pegasus, nearly certain Arrogate should have been credited with a track record. ~1:46.60.

    This explains why official timing begins after horses pass the wire the first time instead of on the wire for other 9f races (not Pegasus)

    Do you know measuring MO at US tracks? This would be ~27 yds over 9f in UK, but hard on rail is only about 3 yds
