    A look at a parallax animation from a not-yet-launched client site. The sunflower grows from seedling to adult as the user scrolls. The GIF looks a tad janky, but the real thing's smooth as butter. Graphics are SVG, animation w/ JS + GreenSock

    I wish had more options when viewing GIFs. Lots of designers post GIFs of their work, so the ability to zoom in or scrub through to see details better would be helpful. I took a quick stab at doing it for them.

    Thanks so much for all of the positive feedback on this. After I published, Carl () from kindly let me know that GSAP actually is able to tween an element's "d" attribute directly. As such, I've updated the story with an updated explanation!

    I put together this tutorial on animating SVG path data with GreenSock to create an elephant with a perspective shift. I rambled a bit in places, so apologies for that! Let me know how you like it!

    I've been wondering about this peculiar UX of the Evernote login page. Why is the password input hidden by default? This bumps the user out of their typing flow and forces an extra click. Does anybody know if this was intentional or if it's an oversight?

    🔥 iPhone users with force touch: if you force touch anywhere on the keyboard, you can move the cursor around in a text field. Way easier than trying to position the cursor *in* the text field.

    I tried a simple solution of checking if activeElement.tagName !== "INPUT" in the resize handler and it seems to be working great so far. Just need to test a bit more to make sure this will work.

    Working on a project that requires a resize event handler. However, on Android devices, the browser fires a resize event whenever the keyboard pops up. Anybody have a link or a good way to deal with excluding the ones fired because of the keyboard?
