Apple iPhone X generates high customer satisfaction ratings
The Apple iPhone X has turned out to be a big winner for Apple. Buyers of the tenth anniversary model say that they are very satisfied with the phone, although most cite two particular features for putting a smile on their faces. One is the TrueDepth Camera, and the other is facial recognition system Face ID. Over the years, Apple has brought new innovations to the smartphone market with the App Store in 2008, FaceTime in 2010 and Siri in 2011 to name just a few. If you're wondering why we didn't mention 2013's Touch ID, which debuted on the Apple iPhone 5s, that is because the Motorola Atrix 4G launched with a fingerprint scanner in 2011. That was a couple of years before the debut of Touch ID.
A report published by the Consumer Sentiment Analysis group of research firm Strategy Analytics, says that buyers are enthusiastic about the iPhone X camera system. They are also "extremely positive" about Face ID. 568 iPhone X buyers were interviewed for the report, and 80% of them were positive about features like the Super Retina HD display, and the improved battery life offered on the device. The report bodes well for Apple and notes that "as an established brand with a loyal customer base, those already in the Apple ecosystem will continue to purchase these products."
"iPhone X has upgraded virtually every core device feature so it stands to reason that iPhone consumers will likely be satisfied with the device. The upgrades to the camera are particularly noteworthy. It will be interesting to see how other manufacturers respond to the innovations bought [sic] about by Apple though this generation of iPhone."-Kevin Nolan, vice president, UXIP
"Overall, early adopters of the iPhone X are satisfied with the device. The combination of consumer sentiment for device features and Apple's brand reputation help this device become a standout product in the U.S. Smartphone market."-Adam Thorwart, lead analyst, Strategy Analytics
The report also says that unlike Apple's competition, the iPhone is always delivering new features that buyers are positively responding to.
