TEA No.1 THE MOON
Description
DETAILS: Originally launched in late 2011 for the holidays, our original Blackbird tea THE MOON was a staple of any Blackbird fanboy/fangirl's cupboard. This tea perfectly represents the Blackbird palette with it's unusual combination of smoky and bright herbal notes precisely balanced to be enjoyed hot or cold, year round.
Blackbird tea doesn't smell like other teas, and it doesn't taste how it smells. For initial inspiration, we went with Lapsang Souchong, a Chinese tea known for its distinct smokey flavor. Lapsang Souchong picks up this flavor from a unique drying process in which the lapsang leaves are smoke-dried over pinewood fires. To this base, we've added a blend of herbs that taste great while supporting focus and mental clarity.
Next in our recipe are Gotu Kola and Tulsi basil, both prized rejuvenative herbs in India. They act as daily nervous system tonics by helping the body adapt to stress, improve focus, and elevate mood. Gotu Kola is used to improve memory, as well as reduce anxiety and mental fatigue. Peppermint is also added, known for its calming effects on the nervous system, as is licorice, which is a strong liver protector and detoxifier.
Our tea comes packaged in a dark violet, almost black glass reusable jar with phenolic cap that drastically reduces decomposition. When you are done with the tea, store other teas, herbs or pencils in this jar. It's a good thing.

September 26 2017 Moon in Sagittarius Conjunct Saturn, Moon Square Mercury Building into some oppositions!
Yes it can be an opposition.. a kind of tug of war, but that is based on resistance we carry cause oppositions truly bring energies of balance to us. Remember that as we continue through these energies... if you are feeling opposed... look where you may be opposing some part of yourself!
Moon in Sagittarius Conjunct Saturn and Square Mercury today is working the mutable t-square.. there still may be crossroads and decisions to be made.. taking aim at what you want, as you heal the energies of what you don't want... that are still mulling about in your head.
There is some destiny coming into play as Saturn (the planet that wants us to show up, and the North Node... the golden path to our destiny, come together...) Now is the time to be honing your aim.. bringing in the necessary changes so you are free to move down the path of heart.
The later part of the day is the first revolution evolution energy of Sun in Libra... what triggers you... see how you can find the balance in it... where is fierceness required... and where can you soften?
