The Bitnami DokuWiki Stack provides a one-click install solution for DokuWiki. Download installers and virtual machines, or run your own DokuWiki server in the cloud.

Launched in 2004, DokuWiki was built for small companies and organizations that need a simple way to manage information, build knowledge bases and collaborate. It has a very simple syntax (wiki markup) that’s easy to learn for users of all types. DokuWiki doesn’t use a database backend, but rather, stores flat files, which makes it a very easy system to maintain.

    Perfect for small companies

    Esay and fast to setup. For our 15 employees company, it went from 0% to 90% of use in just 3 days. Non-geeks are **nearly** comfortable with it.

    Everything works great ... only one little bug

    Hi there,

    I love your bitnami solutions in general.

    In Dokuwiki I found a little "bug" on the welcome screen (console login when you start the virtual appliance).

    The mentioned user "user" should be "bitnami".

    I tried to change that in my appliance .. but I can't find a way to do this because the /etc/issue file is generated automatically, I guess.

    Anyhow, GREAT WORK !!!!!

    Easy to setup, use, and extend

    Setup this baby for my company's wiki and it's working great. So far all of the extra functionalities requested by my coworkers have been met by the extension manager. Simple and full-featured. Love it.

    DokuWiki is a good thing

    I needed a simple wiki-type application without a lot of complications and DokuWiki was it. What can I say - it just works. I have not exercised it much in the way of features, but I have ten thousand wiki pages and a thousand images and no problems. No, one problem - it takes ten hours to index those pages. I work on the various pages offline, adding, subtracting, modifying, and then every month or so, upload the new set, and then wait ten hours for the indexing process. It's not that painful if I just let it go overnight.
