Want to love it

When it works, love it. I love the concept as well. Unfortunately, I have consistent sync issues, not able to manage installed apps / watch faces, and often miss notifications. Update: Periodically after restarting both devices, I can get the ConnectIQ app options to appear in the menu for selection and configuration. Still buggy, but shows promise! The latest app update now spams the notification center repeatedly requesting sync to view activities. :( Please see it through on windows phone!

About done with Garmin

Suddenly 2 weeks ago after the latest windows phone update it takes 4 or 5 tries to get it to open, and it will not sync anymore. Tried reinstalling, resetting band, resetting Bluetooth, still won't work. I am now syncing with USB using the Garmin Connect app on my laptop. BUT, it only allows one activity to be synced per day. So if you run, workout, and then walk, you will only get credit for the most recent activity. Really sucks. Tired of all the bugs with the mobile app and now the desktop app.

Stopped being able to sync to Vivosmart HR+

It was clunky to begin with, always having to remember to boot the app so and wait for it to sync the last days/weeks worth of data. Now, (after a device update?) it can no longer sync with my Vivosmart HR+ anymore at all, and gives no helpful information on why the sync is failing. Both the watch and my Lumia 950 XL claim to be connected over Bluetooth, but syncing fails every time.

Sync

The last update made the smart notifications stop working and the connection to drop. The app also spams the notification center with info to open up the app to sync. Sometimes I get 10 of these messages in a 60 sec interval.

Revised: Working like it should

Updated 11/09 I use this every time I ride. The latest update added links to Facebook and Twitter. Also it now saves the email addresses that are used to share rides. Occasional glitches in Bluetooth connectivity and uploading rides is not always automatic. Not sure if this is Garmin or Lumia. Updated 9/9 Working as expected. Would be nice if the LiveTrack remembered email addresses like in the iOS or Android versions. But it works. Updated 7/19/2016 Running on 950XL. Live track works but data for rides is lacking. Lap data are not shown. Calculated calorie burns are inconsistent between rides. Updated, 3/14/2016 I have the app working with my Lumia 920 running Windows 10 Mobile 10.0.10586.164 connected to my Garmin 810. It works well. It will not work on my Lumia 520 with the same OS version and GCM update. Bluetooth finds each other but the app will not connect. Only email notifications to follow, no Facebook or Twitter notifications for now.

App No Longer Syncing After Creators Update

The app synced with my Vivoactive HR flawlessly before the Windows 10 creators update (on both phone & desktop) - now it either fails to connect with the Vivoactive HR or it will start syncing, then fail after ~30secs. The creators update clearly has changed the way apps interact with Bluetooth, and the app needs to be updated accordingly.

App is terrible again

Broken again. Every big update seems to break it. Used to work flawlessly with my Vivosmart HR.

Won't connect. Won't sync. Crashes.

This app seems great. But it has difficulty connecting and syncing. I haven't been able to establish a stable connection. And the app crashes 4 out of 5 times when opening it. It would probably be perfect if the Garmin device could just connect. Same problem with the vivoactive hr and the forerunner 35.

The app does not sync successfully with mobile.

Update 15 June: doesn't work on my Surface Pro 4. Figured I would reset every and start fresh. Can't even pair it now. Getting to be a really bad joke. Update 14 June: Haha The only thing today's update did was change what it says when a sync fails. It now says it has synced, just not any information. Older remarks: Sync fail, sync fail, sync fail. It was syncing with my Lumia Icon but now fails about 100% of the time. I use it all the time with my vivoactive HR but must sync with my computer. Garmin even removed the ability to leave feedback from within the application.

Thank you Garmin

Finally full support from Garmin on Windows Phone! Works great with my Fenix 3, including text and email notifications. My fiancée uses the Forerunner 920XT with an Android phone. Having set up both, this is the same app and works the same way on both platforms. A little love for WP. It's not dead yet!
