It was an honor to share that perspective during a recent event put on by the National Cyber Security Alliance at Nasdaq headquarters in New York.

As cyber attacks become more sophisticated, they often attempt to exploit the weakest link in the system. Sometimes this involves trying to take advantage of a technical flaw, and sometimes, a human, who can be tricked into helping an attacker. Authorities recently arrested a Rochester, N.Y., policeman for cyberstalking his ex-girlfriend. They say the defendant targeted the victim with harassing text messages, emails, and phone calls. According to news reports, investigators also allege the officer tried to access the woman’s work email and online medical accounts.
