“Defunding” Planned Parenthood really means blocking patients who rely on public health care programs  (like Medicaid and Title X) from getting their care at Planned Parenthood health centers. Approximately 60% of Planned Parenthood patients rely on these programs to access care, and most of those patients use Medicaid.

"I joined the military to fight for my country. Many other female veterans like me joined to fight for our country. 

After I got out of the service and needed to find care, I figured my best choice of care would be Planned Parenthood. It seems like they just...knew. They’re like, 'we’re dealing with an army veteran who has PTSD and anxiety. We don’t know from where, doesn’t matter. This is her story. We need to give her the best care.'

And every time I went in, I felt like I was home."
