    Was thinking about this. Tezos raised ~$230 mil with Bitcoin ~$2500. Can see it open at $6 billion marketcap, which would be 5x in BTC & 26x in USD. Filecoin did $250 mil with Bitcoin ~$3400. I can see marketcap of $10 billion. 40x USD & 10x BTC.

    With all the retarded $1bn+ mcap shitcoins I expect and to open trading at $5-10bn mcap

    The main "issue" will be speed of adoption. Look at Segwit. Exchanges don't see it as a priority since most make users pay the tx fee, LN and segwit don't make them money. Adding new shitcoins does. Support exchanges that care about their users & Bitcoin.

    Q: When will the Lightning Network be rolled out? A: The rollout has already begun. This is an iterative distributed learning process; it's unlikely there will be a single point in time at which we say LN is "deployed" because it will grow organically. Software is never finished.

    So much for Verge and their IP address privacy, someone's publishing originating IP addresses for Verge transactions (not just general node IP addresses). Considering that IP address obfuscation is their single privacy claim, looks like they're toast.

    2017 was an amazing year for Bitcoin and I'm not just talking about the price going up. UASF/Segwit was a major milestone. At the same time many people showed their real intentions, we'll remember that. Let's take the lessons we learned in 2017 with us and make 2018 even better.

    I can't believe how many people are "upset" about the Bitfinex CSTs... The rules were crystal clear. If you bought BT2 or BCU and are upset you lost money (you shouldn't be) go complain to Segwit2x companies and BU devs + backers (Jihan + Roger).

    We will be suspending trading in all Chain Split Token (CSTs) at 23:30:00 UTC as we prepare to settle outstanding BT1 and BCC for BTC. BT2 and BCU will expire worthless and be removed from user accounts by midnight UTC.

    Bitcoin transaction "spam" stopped again the last 24 hours and the mempool is clearing currently down to 60-70 sat/b. Next difficutly adjustment is 95 blocks, seems like a small 3-4% increase in difficulty this tmie.
