    My first Robin Hobb book was a copy of Ship of Magic in Hayward Library. Now have her whole backlist & have bought several copies of a few!

    This is it exactly. The claim of "this book reads like a woman wrote it" generally tends to centre around inclusion of a romantic subplot.
