The Tim Ferriss Show is generally the #1 business podcast on all of iTunes, and it’s been ranked #1 out of 300,000+ podcasts on many occasions. It is the first business/interview podcast to pass 100,000,000 downloads, and it has been selected as “Best of” iTunes for three years running (In 2016 under “most downloaded”).
Past guests include Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jamie Foxx, Edward Norton, Tony Robbins, Maria Popova, Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen, Amanda Palmer, Malcolm Gladwell, Vince Vaughn, Rick Rubin, Reid Hoffman, Jon Favreau, Whitney Cummings, Mike Shinoda, and 200+ more.
Each episode, I deconstruct world-class performers from eclectic areas (investing, sports, business, art, etc.) to extract the tactics, tools, and routines you can use. This includes favorite books, morning routines, exercise habits, time-management tricks, and much more.
Aside from promo impact (often bigger than full-page NYT, WSJ, or Esquire coverage, or primetime CNN), guests enjoy the show because it’s friendly, long-form, and they have final cut before audio is published. This leads to extremely open, raw interviews and — paradoxically — fewer edits. Here is a good overview from The Observer: “How Tim Ferriss Became The ‘Oprah of Audio’”
Salon has included the podcast in their list of “suggestions to make you remember the world can be a good place.” It’s about positive tactics you can use, not “gotchas” or other B.S.. The Internet has enough of that, and I wanted to do something to reverse the trend.

Hi Tim, Surely you’ve considered posting the transcriptions to those awesome podcasts. I wonder what stops you. It could be offered as a paid subscription (single, any 3 or all podcasts, maybe also translations) with monies going to your favourite charity. I would be thrilled to help with that project actually. Cheers

Goodday Tim,
I have a suggested “force multiplier” that you can implement to your podcast that will allow you are fans to subscribe by email ( which I prefer) all you have to do is go into your Feedburner settings and click the subscribe by email option.

I’m diving into your 4 Hour Chef audiobook. I think audio books should be treated differently than physical printed books. I am already up to speed on your decades of research and sold on your teaching and mentoring methods. I wished you would adopt the 4 hour Ruthlessly eliminate Any unnecessary fluff that Prevents you to get to the core of the lesson faster..

Rick steves would be phenomenal podcast guest. Check out YouTube video of reference above, it reminds me of the great start up businesses I hear about, he had a a passion, took action based on what he wanted to do rather than what everyone else did, and succeeded wildly. Check it out.

Ok, I am 41 minutes into the Glitch Mob interview (paused right now while I comment)…, I’ve downloaded the Into the Sea album, listened to it twice in the gym this morning, and now I’m posting a comment to the show.
Seriously awesome band, I keep finding Gems on your podcast. Keep them coming, looking forward to the Amanda Palmer interview.

Great show! Couldn’t leave a comment using my podcast app but wanted to throw a name in the hat of people to interview. Tim Ballard, who was a special agent for dept of homeland security and the CIA, quit govt job to start Operation Underground Railroad. His team collaborates with foreign governments to go undercover into situations in which children are being sold for sex and arrests the people responsible. A documentary of his organization premiered at Sundance this year called, “The Abolitionists,” and the website is http://www.ourrescue.com. Hope you can make it happen.

Love the podcast. A possible guest that I’d to hear you interview is Mark Twight. World renowned Alpine Climber and fitness trainer. Owner of Jim Jones.
I think he’d be a great addition to your podcast.
Thanks

Hey Tim, I’m just wondering what you recommend for the egg lentil spinach diet. Is it whole eggs or egg whites? Seasoned or not? I just was looking for specifics. I’m a little confused between the books recipe and what I’ve heard on a few of the podcast.
