I really loved the app until yesterday when I went to access photos and messages that my friend had sent almost a year ago. They are inaccessible. they have just disappeared. I looked online. Apparently this is a common problem. Once you reach a million or so cumulative messages, some messages (apparently chosen at random) disappear, and you can't access them anymore. They are apparently still stored but what is the point if I cannot get to them?

I really like the simplicity of this app. So secure and even if I reinstall in on my device, my contents are still in. My only issue is thay its not synced on my Smartwatch anymore. Before it appears as app on my smartwatch but now it doesn't. Maybe its a watch issue but still hoping to see it again on my watch. Keep up the good work guys. 😉

Seems to be a bug that's annoying lately. I switch between Windows Desktop and Android apps or use both at same time. Problem is when I delete a PM chat on PC it appears again later on Android, visible but empty. But I don't want that. When I delete a chat it stays deleted, I don't want it to be there but empty. Hope this gets patched, guys. This is main chat app I use.

concerning this new update..the functions arent good. :laughing doesnt even show the most popular emoji...far as the search but members feature..it makes absolutely no sense. if you wanted to search specific messages from a member, it doesnt filter it to just that specific members messages. it still shows all other memebers messages and still would have to do some scrolling especially if the message youre looking for was last month. the way the feature is now, makes it completely useless. other than that, i actually LOVE the telegram app. have been usuing it since the beginning.

Good chatting app.. the broadcast joining feature and same file downloads only 1 times is good feature.. But pls developer add more chat pin option.. pin to chat no is limited kindly increase it Also please change the download pattern: 1)make the file name as per the name shown on chat list 2)while downloading and scrolling the download get stopped.

There's so many cool features like inline bots and custom stickers. It's pretty much as secure as you're going to get and it treats links and special formatting really well. I am constantly finding new features and each one is really fun to use and something I can't live without. The only problem with this is getting your contacts to move over to Telegram, which is easy due to the decrease in quality other applications have had. Overall this is the best messaging app I've ever used and I recommend it to anyone who's lost interest in apps like Skype, WhatsApp, or Facebook messenger. Telegram is pretty much Discord but paid features are made free.

I wanted to create my own theme. But theme editor doesn't have all necessary settings. I checked it. I changed all the colours I was able to change to black, but still some parts of the program remained not black. I can't change colour of chat bubbles, audio bubbles, video circles, and some gray text. Please, fix this!
We haven't marking options in telegram. When you want to send messages to different people or you want to delete accounts you should do it one by one. Please in next update consider this problem. WhatsApp all ready solved this problem for users
Good for occasional chats, but if used for daily heavy chats, it's flaws and bugs reveal itself. It's particularly annoying when I receive a notification for every time someone sends a message in the range of a few seconds. Come on, aggregated notifications are a must. Converting text to emojis is also a much needed feature. Call stability can be improved too.
Like it but what i hate about it, it has a lot stickers for girls to send you lol while you got nothing to send them back! No stickers for boys! But why, i always send the monkey sticker -_- i feel like a little baby, ADD MORE STICKERS FOR MEN!
Great app that is constantly updated and improved! Can hold large files that are uploaded quickly and easily. Has plenty of fun uses such as a built in Gif database and a great sticker bot that lets you upload custom sticker. This is the best messenger to ever excited; putting the android messenger to shame!
I'm just going through so many issues with skype right now and its new garbage update that I had to take a second and just appreciate how user friendly and fast and sensible telegram is. I've never had issues with it. on the contrary, it has surprised me on more than one occasion with how much it stores, how easy it is to navigate chats, the security, the way voice calling works on it, etc. I'll never get rid of it. thank you telegram. NEVER CHANGE.
Kind of like WhatsApp.. Very good app but there is something weird about it.. After i installed telegram, my phone went rogue with the lockscreen.. Even if I'm not getting any notifications the lights turn on by them self (and the phone is locked and resting on a table)..
Telegram has all the functionality AND is concerned about their customers privacy. Large files which choke my SMS app are handled easily by Telegram. I would appreciate a bit more customization and contact specific notification options, but that is a nit. The only difficulty to breaking the bonds of SMS is all my stodgy contacts need to switch to Telegram. Working on it.... Everyone should download and give Telegram a try.

hai telegram.. please add the "clear history" button to telegram group menu. So I can read the messages clearly if the hundres messages were sent to my telegram I can sort it which messages was important or not. If there is no clear history button I cant read my group chat clearly, it makes me confused which is important or not.
Nonsense.. Unable to delete broadcast messages, media. Even if deleted from file folder again appears.. Should have basic sense to developers. Why messages appears from day one of group created, even if we join group today.
Good features, but shady development process. The GitHub repository is lagging behind the version published here, and the developer closed the issue tracker. We can't report bugs anymore... The Android Wear app is buggy, I can't log in.
Tell me how to deactivate my acc pls. You shouldn't send any pwd into telegram inbox... When i opened the message (pwd) you sent, the deactivation link gone. I try over and over again to deactivate my telegram acc the same thing happened. It's so easy deactivate Whatsapps acc than Telegram apss. How come?!!! I hope you guys understand my bad english
It's a great app, I love it! But lately I've had some issues with the voice notes. Sometimes when I play a voice note, the app play previous voice note and not the one recently sent me. Furthermore, sometimes when I play a voice note, the screen turn it off without I put the phone on my ear. The worst thing is that these problems aren't punctual, but they occurs several times at day. As additional details add that I have one Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with Snapdragon 650 in Android 6.0. Hope you can solve these problems soon.
Its taking too much time for uploading and downloading media even voice notes. Once i reinstalled the app. Thing were fine for a while. And the problem came up again. Can anyone help me out?
Good app. Can I suggest a new improvement? That'd be amazing if I could create a chat/group and delete myself afterwards in case I got sick of a group, and pass all the administrative functions to a new admin. Thanks!:)
I have an idea of making room discussion in supergroup. So everyone can makes topics of different interest which still on group's subject. Could it happen?
Love it. I just need to convince my contacts to use it over crappy old WhatsApp. I only have one issue on android being that : toast/banner notifications do no work but it stills ring and show up in the status bar when there's a message. Also you can use the heads-up alert but I find it too aggressive.
I got much benefits in telegram. In Indonesia, there are so many investor and trader of Indonesia Stock Markets using telegram. They share their analysis, knowledge and experiences in group rooms, channels, and even bots. I learn a lot from them by telegram. In indirect way, telegram have portion to make Indonesia Stock Market thriving. And also, I do my stock trading using telegram, too. Like this app, works fine for me. Only one thing i can't find out, how can i change the sending video quality? I once chose 720p but now it's my standard size, how can i change it again?
3rd rate app not even worth negative mark. Should not be hosted on playstore. Cannot delete old msgs. Un-nessarily clutters the groups or I don't know. Teach me & I give 5
This app was really a great way to kill time & have fun along with friends, but now after the new update I can't see any of my friend's pictures or access to the pictures I have received. I can't even log into my account once I signed out. What a horrible app upadte.
whats wrong with the notif? its all fine since i installed on 2016, and the notif problem come since July 2017. i have to open the application to get the notif, and the messages are pending or delayed while.my connection is all okay. please fix it.

I think it should have status settings but it didn't If status settings has in telegram it very easy to attract people towards India's telegram. And u should to allow video calls its help to increases the using level of telegram
Didn't list my contacts on the first start. I allowed access, but the contacts list was empty, though I was sure I should have people listed there who use telegram already. After a restart it started working. Totally broken first experience.

We really liked the privacy of groups. Supergroup could have a large number of members (around 10,000). Also we can pin our important message on the supergroup so that all the members can watch that. For everybody, we are a startup in devotional space. We develop products and understand the pain when somebody gives bad ratings. Bad ratings never gonna help you or the product. If you have problems then ask the product team and share your feedback with them so that they can improve. We found Telegram team very helpful and that's why we decided to write this review. 1 check = message delivered to the Telegram cloud.
2 checks = message read.
We don't have a status for 'message delivered to device', because you can use Telegram on multiple devices simultaneously. Since you don't know which one of their devices the person is actually using, delivery to one of the devices becomes irrelevant. I have a terrible problem for 2 days, my internet connection is completely fine and I can use any other app, but my Telegram remains in "connecting" mood, and the only way is to uninstall and install it again. Not even logging out, UNINSTALLING
If you like unsolicited dick pics and gay porn, even where you SHOULD NOT be finding it. Then telegram is for you! If you're a straight male, like me, well... Ya get used to it, or you stop using the app.
It's ok apart from the persistent requests to access my contacts, which I denied as it's not needed for the app to function. Nice looking app, but it's overly complicated with too many options for the average end user.
Love this app, but there's a problem. Ever since I updated it, it's been having a hard time connecting while on Wi-Fi. I noticed that a few users had the same trouble. Any help?
