A Look Into How Repealing Net Neutrality will Change the Internet (https://goo.gl/ALdeL8)

It's probably no stretch to say that we're currently living in the most politically divided time that many of us have ever lived in. Many political analysts and historians argue that it's the most divided time in history.

With so much dividing us, it's nice to rally around the things that truly bring us together, and nothing does that better than the #Internet in all its crazy, weird, funny, and massively connected ways.

And on the Internet currently, you'd be hard-pressed to find many news stories more talked about than the FCC and Chairman Ajit Pai's plan to repeal Net Neutrality.

We won't go into defining and describing what Net Neutrality is, because you can find that elsewhere. Instead, we thought we'd share this article from WIRED about how your everyday browsing is likely to change if (and as many think, when) Net Neutrality is repealed in December:

"Internet Service Providers like Comcast and Verizon may soon be free to block content, slow video-streaming services from rivals, and offer 'fast lanes' to preferred partners. For a glimpse of how the internet experience may change, look at what broadband providers are doing under the existing 'net neutrality' rules."

"When AT&T customers access its DirecTV Now video-streaming service, the data doesn't count against their plan's data limits. Verizon, likewise, exempts its Go90 service from its customers' data plans. T-Mobile allows multiple video and music streaming services to bypass its data limits, essentially allowing it to pick winners and losers in those categories."
