Thomas Bridgewater: Fucking lol. She did the exact opposite of what it makes sense to do, or at least if she wanted people to stop trolling her instead of wanting to use the trolls to gain attention and money.

George Hayes: The woman created most of her own problems. Game companies are in the business of making games to sell to make money. Her issue with the way women are shown in some games is her own. It isn't as if the game industry hasn't tried other stuff. They rated like shit and would have gotten crap profits.

The assholes that went to the point of making threats the law does have a way of dealing with them in all 50 states. Hell if anything it gets abused way to often for stuff that isn't threats.

There are plenty of female programmers who I have respect for. Hell I try to encourage more to start programming. I provide tutorials they simply choose not to. Number one excuse, "I'm not a nerd" or they don't want to be perceived as one. But when it comes to this woman I could give a rats ass. I would never hire her.

If she wants to see more of a different type of game she can do like lots of other people do start her own company and make them. Don't bitch about what others make. Consumers for the most part dictate what is made by choosing what they do and don't buy.
