★Important Notice #1
If you intend to do a factory reset on the phone, please make sure default backup folder is in your external SD card before doing it. If not, please copy the entire backup folder ("SmsContactsBackup" by default) to your external SD card

★Important Notice #2
Since Android M, access bookmarks from 3rd application is disabled, so Super Backup cannot backup and restore bookmarks.

★Important Notice #3
If you schedule automatic backups, and you use some apps such as Task Killer or Memory Clear, please make sure you had add Super Backup into their White List or Ignore list. Otherwise Super Backup can not run in background, and automatic backups will not work.

These permissions are used to backup & restore your Bookmarks

READ CALENDAR EVENTS PLUS CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION/ADD OR MODIFY CALENDAR EVENTS AND SEND EMAIL TO GUESTS WITHOUT OWNERS' KNOWLEDGE
These permissions are used to backup & restore your Calendars

READ CALL LOG/WRITE CALL LOG

Useful! I thought it was awesome till I tried to restore contacts. Everything else was restored just fine (apps,sms etc.). But the contacts backup was taking ALL the contacts from ALL my google accounts, even those I did not have in sync. So I ended up with thousands of duplicated contacts...go figure!

Doesnt back up multi-user text conversations, only one to one. Therefore useless to me. I need all party's conversations for legal reasons.

Saves the apps but not the data? What's the point of backing upp apps if I can't save their data? It mentions I need to be "rooted", but doesn't explain anything further. Do I need to be a techie to use this thing?

What is the point of a backup you can't restore? "How to restore? Step1:Please copy the entire backup folder "SmsContactsBackup" in your old phone's sdcard(internal or external) to your new phone's sdcard(prefer internal sdcard).... Step2:Then install Super Backup on your new phone, and click "Restore" button...." Uh, where precisely is this Restore button hiding? I kept screen shots, this button is not there. On the plus side, backing up was easy.

Obnoxious Seriously it won't let me restore. The stupid app only gives me the option to cancel after I have selected the folder I need it to restore. What kind of BS is that!? Just a waste of time.

So easy even a caveman can do it! Update Jan 2017: phone died & had to replace it. All my appointments, meetings, birthdays, etc. were saved, restoring the backup was a breeze. You're a lifesaver! THANK YOU!

Useless app! DOES NOT backup to cloud G.Drive) without any explanation!!! Backup is kept on local storage! Also, developer failed to mention that this rubish can not backup apps-data unless the phone is rooted!! It backups apps only (no data). Waste of money!
