10th Annual Student Poster Day Draws Crowd

Friends and families associated with Special Love, which runs Camp Fantastic each August, were guests at the circus.

Hundreds of exhibitors and visitors crowd the Visitor Information Center and lobby in Bldg. 10 for one of the rites of summer the annual presentation of work completed by NIH's cadre of summer science interns. More than 400 students, from high school to medical school, participated in the 10th annual Poster Day on Aug. 3, sponsored by the Office of Education.

Our Clinical Center Grows

Rapid progress is again being made in constructio n of our 13-story Clinical Center after delays caused by strikes and weather conditions.

The West end of the building is now up to first-floor level.

Bids for erection of the superstructure -- largest contract in the NIH expansion program -- will be openedon August 23. It is understood that at least six firms will submit figures. (Complete plans and specifications for the superstructure were placed on the market for bids on June 29.)
