Oof, sorry about Slackbot acting weird. 😳 Would you mind sending us a report at ? Our team will dig into why this is happening.

Typically this indicates that your app has an update available, but you don't have access to allow that update to happen. Usually this happens when the app is installed by an Admin of some sort on your computer, and not by yourself. Could that be the case?

You're not imagining it! We've had a few reports coming in about this, and clearing the cache fixes things up: Help > Troubleshooting > Clear Cache and Restart. Let us know if not though!

Arf, unfortunately no. Slash commands aren't executable by Slackbot. That's a good suggestion for improvement though! 💡

...the time zone within your Profile to UTC -6 during Daylight Time Savings. This question has generated a good discussion internally, so thank you for reaching out about this! 🙏 2/2

That's a good question! On mobile, as long as you have "Detect time zone automatically" checked, we will set and trigger reminders according to the time zone detected by the OS, so you don't need to update anything. It's trickier on desktop: you will need to update... 1/2

You're right, the limit is 4000 bytes per message. This is mainly due to performance and to mitigate issues caused by sending very large messages. We don't plan to reduce this limit further though! More info here:

Ah, we see what you mean. Sorry for the confusion. The All Threads view is currently matching the All Unreads view, so newest messages appear first. We realize that can be confusing though, so we appreciate the feedback! 🙏

Hey Dean, not sure we understand the part about threads, would you be able to clarify which view you are referring too? When clicking on a thread, the newest messages should also be at the bottom. Thank you!

Hmmm...this could be caused by a variety of factors. Would you mind getting in touch via [email protected] so that the team can dig deeper into this?

Type the slash command "/away" or "/active" to set yourself to that status on mobile! 😊

So sorry for being such a resource hog there. This is something we're actively working on improving and will hopefully be releasing updates which address this soon. Please bear with us in the meantime! 🙏
