Datadog, a systems monitoring company that will compete with New Relic, stated in January 2016 that it has raised more than $94 million. JFrog, which wants to automate the continuous delivery pipeline, recently raised $50 million.

Binary artifact experts JFrog announced that they have closed a $50 million Series C round, making what they are calling one of the biggest funding achievements in the DevOps space. Leading the round were new investors Scale Venture Partners, Sapphire Ventures, Battery Ventures, Vintage Investment Partners, and Qumra Capital, who joined in with a number of their previous investors.

JFrog says the funding has helped it to grow its technology and business to more broadly support continuous integration. Turning aside larger investment opportunities from venture capitalists, open-source software build and distribution company JFrog today announced a $7 million Series B investment round led by VMware. The package includes a follow-on investment from JFrog’s Series A leader, Gemini Ventures.

“Seven million dollars is what we needed,” said JFrog CEO Shlomi Ben Haim, noting that no changes to the board of directors or company C-suite are attached to the round.

JFrog, a maker of tools to streamline the building and distribution of software, now has $7 million in a funding round that includes a contribution from VMware. This brings total backing to about $12 million.

The company, with offices in Santa Clara, Calif. and Israel, claims big customers including Apple, Netflix and Twitter. Its main products are Artifactory, for managing software code and projects, and Bintray, for distributing the end result.
