This weblog, Island in the Net, has been in existing for a while. If we count a few false starts with Google’s Blogger service, then I would say I started blogging circa 2003. But my journey as a consistent blogger started with the purchase of my first domain blog in 2005. I have posted on this website for a long time but discovered the Indieweb in late 2017, and have spent the time since remaking this site to make use of modern Indieweb technologies.
I use this website as my primary hub for online presence and communication. I follow the principles of the IndieWeb movement by publishing on my own site and owning all of my own data. You’re welcome to subscribe to or consume them in any manner or on any platform you prefer. I accept comments via Webmention and traditional comment forms.
