    Yesterday the DC Council held first vote (13-0) to create a maternal mortality review committee. Intro'd by , MMRC would examine every death during pregnancy, during child birth, or year after. Thx to Kojo for highlighting the issue.

    As Margaret Mead famously said, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has." is proving the point.
