  2. I want to thank the US House of Representatives which reflects the tremendous support Israel enjoys among the American people.

  3. They voted to either repeal the resolution at the UN or change it—and that's exactly what we intend to do.

  4. Democrats and Republicans alike know that the Western Wall isn't occupied territory.

  5. After the outrageous anti-Israel UN resolution, the US House of Representatives voted to support Israel and reject this one-sided resolution

  6. To our regret, the wounded include an Israeli citizen. I must say that there is another Israeli citizen whose fate is currently unknown.

  7. We send condolences to the families of those who were murdered and best wishes for recovery to the wounded

  8. This terror continues to strike. We saw over the weekend, just yesterday, another deadly attack in Turkey.

  15. PM Netanyahu: Under my leadership Israel is a strong and proud nation. We will continue to defend our state and we will develop the country.

  16. PM: The nations of the world respect strong countries that stand up for themselves and do not respect weak countries that bow their heads.

  17. We are certain of our future as we are certain of our past. And here I would like to light Chanukah candles on behalf of the Glory of Israel

  18. The Western Wall & Jewish Quarter are not occupied. The other places are not occupied either. We do not, nor can we, accept this resolution.

  19. PM Netanyahu: According to the UN resolution, the Maccabees did not liberate Jerusalem, they occupied Palestinian territory.

  20. PM Netanyahu: In light of the UN resolution I thought that there was no better place to light the 2nd Chanukah candle than the Western Wall.
