I attended this place based on reviews from friends and TA. This is a hard review to write as I have very mixed feelings about this place. First of all, the decor and atmosphere is great. The staff were friendly and attentive which is also a plus. The cocktails were ok (the espresso martini was beautiful) Our First 2 cocktails tasted like pure alcohol, the 2nd two were much nicer and the last 2 were ok, nothing fancy. For the size, they were pretty expensive. The food - I was... excited most about the tacos prior to dinner, however sadly, they were pretty bland. Edible, but boring and lacked flavour. The tostadas though were beautiful and full of flavour, especially the sashimi tuna and the blue swimmer crab - I'd happily eat a big plate of both of those! The biggest let down of the night though was the heat and where we were seated. Before we get started - I know this is Bali and it's hot. I've been here 4 times and grew up Nth QLD so I know heat. I booked our table 2 weeks in advance. We got seated in a corner with no air flow and no fan on us. It was unbearable, uncomfortable heat. My partner wasn't well (from the heat - it was like an oven) and we asked to move somewhere in the middle where there was air flow. We were told that they couldn't as there was no availability for just 2 people. Only groups. Fair enough. However, 2 girls then got seated opposite us, complained about the heat and they got moved to the middle (where we asked to be seated) a table created and a fan placed on them. Pretty unfair and shitty service. In the end, we left hungry because it was so hot we literally had to leave. I understand the concept of an open cafe, but you need to invest in more fans and treat your guests equally. Some of the food and cocktails were nice, but overall the whole experience was uncomfortable and disappointing.

Husband and I ate here in November and are looking forward to returning with friends in a couple of weeks time when we visit Bali again. The food was great although the service was a little haphazard. We tried to book a table through the mobile web app but seemingly our booking never got through, as we discovered when we got there.

Initially when we arrived we were told they couldn't find our booking and there were no tables available but we could have a drink. Asked to go... on the waiting list for a table and the lady on the door said we could but we'd be waiting a long time. Sit down on outdoor terrace and a guy took our drinks order, when he came back to ask how things were I enquired as to how much longer our wait was going to be - we were pretty hungry by this stage and would have happily gone elsewhere. Magically a table was available! Great! We were led upstairs, had the menu explained to us and decided to go with the meat & seafood banquet.

I'm an Indonesian, I was curious about the "Instagramable" decor and interior design, so I went there. I came without reservation at around 4.00 pm, was welcomed & greeted warmly and was informed in advance that for this time only Tacos menu available because Dinner Menu time only started at 6.00 PM and Lunch Menu time already finished at 3.00 PM. Good service & informative. I was by myself & didn't want to seat in the bar table, the waiter took me to nice table for three in ...the corner. The waiter responded well & give good recommendations when I had query on the menu; and since I'm muslim who don't drink alcohol, they suggested virgin mojito which is good. When they're not busy, since I'm alone, different waiters chat politely with me - good service because in other places in Bali often the waiters only chat and greet foreigners tourist. The waiters can take good photos of visitors when we asked them (this is a MUST skill service for Indonesian visitor), even showed me the best spots for taking photos that hips and offered to take photos. The Tacos menu was great & delicious, I tried several options, and the food delivered fast to my table. Great service.
