In a SharePoint site attached to a Team, Team Owners group gets Full Controll permissions level, and Team Members group gets Edit by defaul (can be changed to either Full Controll or Read). Then there is Read permissions level that is not assosiated with any Team groups.
Will the Teams app have an option to add users as Visitors (in addition to Owners and Members) in the future?
Yes, that can be achieved by opening the site, going to Advanced sharing settings, opening New Team Visitors SharePoint group, and finally adding people to it. Setting up a shortcut on the home page of the site would ease the burden for users, but they would still have to remember to go to two different places to manage the same set of permissions levels.
I find Team's approach to managing permissions very intuitive and convenient, but think that it's incomplete without Visitors (Read) component.
In the changelog, there's a new 17.3.6720.1207 version. It links to a new Transition from the previous OneDrive for Business sync client for SharePoint sites page that not longer requires you to add a manual registry key (TeamSiteSyncPreview.reg) to transition as mentioned in the old Preview article. It just says this:
Sounds good! But still, the user have to do something manually. I want all my users to automatically move away from GROOVE.EXE. Can someone confirm if the plan in the next-coming month versions is to automatically transition all currently GROOVE.EXE sync'ed SharePoint libraries to ONEDRIVE.EXE sync'ed? Maybe this manual process is just an intermediate solution in 17.3.6720.1207 until Microsoft sees it's working well and in the next version it might happened automatically?
I am getting an error message when I try to update the data
not enough system resources to display the dialog

I've had this request from a teacher trialing Classroom for us, they would like to be able to email the students who are a member of her class to notify them that she has added resources to OneDrive, currently if she starts a conversation the students need to check the group before they will see the conversation.
In a typical Office 365 group you can specify that new members are subscribed and will therefore receive an email to their own inbox whenever something is posted to the group, I cannot however enable this setting for a classroom group, atleast not through the UI.
Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
