Still the biggest, and one of the best... One of the original online-video services, YouTube still maintains one of the largest catalogs and for the most part, seems to work well. On occasion, Google (whom owns YouTube) even innovates and takes big steps forward - a perfect example of this is Google's decision to abandon Adobe Flash Video support in YouTube. YouTube probably won't be the only online-video application you will use... But it will most likely be the one you use the most...

Getting Better The latest update has gotten better compared to the previous versions but sometimes YouTube detects that there is no internet connection when there is. This happens almost everytime I open the application. I wish the trending section had videos from all over the world not only country specific ones. It could have been better if YouTube could better change quality settings without stuttering. The automatic quality setting when you click the video can also be improved by not playing a 144p video when you can set a 1080p/1440p video manually without any buffering. Sometimes it can also take a long time to load the homepage too. Other than that, the application has been behaving itself quite well.

I still love YouTube but now it's become pretty much turned into a place where even a short video has a whole bunch of commercials and they want us to pay for no commercials... And also the little notification bell doesn't work, you have to be checking from time to time to see if there's any new videos in your subscription. I really miss the old YouTube , the GOOD YouTube

The best video sharing site What can I say? It's YouTube! Best entertainment for the last decade and still going strong. There is still nothing like it on the internet, on the world wide web. Your cell phone app is just as good and up to standard with the original, and now historic, internet website. I have no complaints just praises: the app is fast, user-friendly, efficient, it never crashes and to top it off it doesn't take a lot of room on my cell memory like other apps. 5 out of 5 stars. Keep up the great work!!

Why it's great Youtube is very usefull because you can watch lots of stuff and if it didn't exist i would freak out without Youtube it's crazy imagane a day no a month without Youtube just thik about it! Horrible after updating Recently I tried updating youtube on my mobile. The app was working fine before updating. It is showing please check your network connection though my net connection is pretty fast & all other apps are working fine. GUYS PLEASE DON'T UPDATE YOUTUBE.. It's not even worth of giving a single star...UNTIL EVERYTHING IS FIXED

Fix video bugs and add dark theme to YT. [BUGS] 1. Sometimes when changing the time of the video, the video freezes but audio plays. This is very annoying. 2. The Top Comments and Newest comments options don't work on landscape on tablets. I have to change it to portrait for it to change.[FEATURES] Add a dark theme to YouTube which YT Gaming has.

Multiple loading and crashing issues On both wifi and mobile data, I have been having multiple issues where the time for the app to open and load could be around 3-5 minutes. And more recently, I frequently run into the app crashing for no apparent reason. I close all of my running apps pretty regularly, so there isn't heavy usage by other apps causing it. Been pretty difficult to watch anything for the past week.

Progress bar The progress bar seems to be a bit thin, maybe it's my phone, not sure but I have a Droid Turbo and trying to go forward or backward on a video is difficult, even though my fingers are not that large. That's my only gripe, but like I said it could be my phone itself.

Noticed touch screen delays on videos with latest version. Constant issue loading videos after tapping on them. Just get the loading icon. Works like 30% of the time. Also same issue for viewing videos on subscription list. Keep getting 502 error messages. Videos also default to 480p so always have to manually change to 1080p.

Cant remember where i was after sleep If i am in some channels/play list and click on a video. I paus after a while and the ie tablet goes in to sleep mode. What happens then, after waking it up, is that the app will forget where in the list i was. I will always be at the of the page and that results in a lot of scrolling. Make it remember where i was.

not working... hi, i have a problem with youtube. I am using a samsung tablet to watch my youtube vidoes and everytime i start one up its automatically pauses, i press play and instantly pauses again. i have spent 20+ minutes trying to fix it and i has not gotten better... :( I hope i get an answer to this problem :( :( :(

Video quality. My phone's screen is not 720p, but it's not as low as 460p either. I think it's 900x600p. But the app won't allow me to stream HD videos, resulting in me loosing a lot of clarity that I SHOULD be able to have. Twitch let's me stream FullHD videos, for God's sake! Why can't YT do the same?! Let's not mention 60fps!

I spend way too much time on here The app is fun and easy to use. There are some adult themes so if you're a parent make sure to get YouTube kids instead. It's your fault if they use YouTube wrong. Other than that sit back and relax to thousands of videos free to watch

WTF YouTube Ok, before I updated it was going just great for me. However, since the last I am facing many troubles with YouTube. For instance, I am videos in the my recommended that I'm not in at all. In addition if say I am not interested in a video and remove it from my recommended, the same appears on my recommended the day after like WTF! So please fix this YouTube.

Crashes my Nexus 10 Before the major design change a while ago YouTube and Nexus 10 worked great together. Now....Not so much. This is a known problem talked about all over the net. Come on Google FIX THE PROBLEM PLEASE!!!

The recommendation and the trending sections suck Seriously YouTube you put a 11 seconds video with 50k views in your trending section? Where's the trendy part? And what about those spiderman and Elsa crappy videos? They're everywhere and they're using view bots and the spam comments are all over their "videos" they are full of ads and they make millions of views in days i don't even know how. Take "toy monster" channel for example.They're obviously cheating the system and they're making money out of it and you're just sitting there letting it happen

Liked the content, but the app sometimes has trouble I like the content but sometimes the app on my phone has trouble downloading and loading stuff.Other apps on my phone seem to at least load slowly and not stop completely. On the this app sometimes videos will freeze and not play at all. Sometimes videos will continue circling for a long time. And I change the settings to the lowest quality video settings and it still takes forever. Sometimes it is a pain to use & navigate this app. hard to find interesting videos because of options to discover new content.

Why??? I really dislike the new feature that makes you fast forward 10 seconds every time you double click on the screen. It made pausing videos a much slower process as now the pause button takes more time to show up. It really annoys me because when I want to instantly pause, I can't anymore. Making new features are supposed to enhance the experience, not worsen it.

Don't update until YouTube get stable fix. Just updated on Dec 3, but now there's another update but it has a date of Dec 1 2016! Appears YouTube is unstable. I'll wait until next month before applying any updates.

One stupid fault All this app needs is the ability to minimise while playing the video. It's ridiculous that you can't use your phone at all while listening to a song on YouTube, or a podcast for that matter. You'd think this would be an obvious feature by now.

Well-executed basis, awful design. Shared page and trending page are both making this app obtuse. Very difficult to get the right time on the progress bar. Tapping on timestamps in the comment section cause the comments to reload so I have to start reading from the top again. Timestamps in the description seldom even work in the first place. The ‘recommended’ algorithm is promoting irrelevant clickbait instead of high-quality content. Playlists don't continue from where you left. 10 second skips are annoying and make the app unresponsive.

Hate the new youtube.Update killed it. The old yt allows me to watch HD Videos at 720p but now it wont.The video crashes and only the audio is playing when it is at 720p.Now i can only watch it at 480p and the notification wont work.Bring back the old yt,The new yt!

I give it 3 just because you should be able to make a stable version of this app for lower end phones that can't handle the software I've had many phones that fail to load this app because it uses up most of the RAM in the phone. Can't you accommodate those with phones that aren't very powerful?

Loved the app but.. I hate the suggestions on the right top corner which disturb me while watching videos.. That is just annoying and they still pop-up even though you turned off suggestions

Annoying video overlay You used to be able to tap to see how much time was left on your video and tap again to hide the overlay. Now you have to hit a specific tiny button right over the playback bar to do the same thing. It's inconvenient and makes you skip to the end of your video half the time.

Works almost perfectly Aside from the odd video that doesn't buffet past a fixed point (some of us still have slow Internet connections in 2017), the app works very well.

Wonderful app to watch videos it was wonderful app. which videos you want it will have but there is simple problem that YouTube will not corrected i.e in the notification bar we mistakenly touch cancel transfer the video will saving offline that will removed I'm requesting to YouTube team please update this option to ask delete or not and another problem is it is doesn't have options to saving offline videos like pause all resume all

Excellent, you never know! You never know when you'll need this. I've had several instances where months later someone has denied what they said. Whether recording calls in your area is legal or not, I've found that just the mention that I recorded the original call and once I played a few seconds down my mobile phone, this is enough to get people to reconsider their memory recall. Buy the pro version, for a few pence it has loads of useful features. I bought this as I hate liars. Quentin.

Too many ads The format is great, the access to informative and enriching videos is invaluable. However, the ads really seem to be getting out of hand. Sponsors for free websites/apps are greatly appreciated--long, unavoidable ads are not so much so.

60 fps FTW!... Well kinda I love it how the recent update now lets me watch 60 fps videos on my cellphone but it sometimes freezes on me and I have to restart the video and get it back going again. Kinda of a issue if you ask me but other than that it's great but 60 fps really eats up your data rather pretty quickly if you ask me.

Too many ads which interrupt the experience Why should I be forced to watch through adverts for products I don't care about? I will search up things I'm interested in, not be dictated by Google as to what I have to view for at least 5 seconds before skipping on to what I'm actually interested in.

Chromecast remote sucks App is all good except when using Chromecast. It streams perfectly, but all you can do on the app is pause, skip video or go back a video. Trying to jump forward a minute or two is a nightmare. Please add some basic remote functions.

Some bugs, but great Interface Right now there is a glitch/bug that after an ad, the "visit advertiser" link will stay at the top of the screen and block off the title and some options for the video you actually wanted to watch

"Unlikes" videos after I've "liked" them? I haven't had the "unsusbcribed" problem at all. My problem is that after I "like" a video, go back to re-watch it (makeup tutorial,funny skit,etc...) and it's not in my liked videos. When I find it again, it's not liked at all anymore! :( Happens multiple times a day now :( please fix

Detailed description box missing when casting/remove pause splash screen so I can read text that is in a video!!!!!!!!!!!!! When connected to casting and I click a video, the description for the video is gone... It now only shows an option to play or add to queue. The only way to read the description is to skip the current video!!! Which, if I could view the description, I may realize I don't even want to watch that video. Please bring this function back. Update: First issue still not fixed, and now with new updates, if I pause the screen to read text in a video a splash screen pops up on like 5 seconds and blocks my view. Dumb.
