I last posted on Dec 30th during the day with no problem. I went back later that evening and all I get is the white screen with the blue W circle. I've cleaned out temporary internet files. I've cleaned out cookies. I've restarted my computer. I've restarted my browser. (Multiple times) I ran virus scan and malware. I've rechecked my settings on my computer so that everything from wordpress.com is supposed to be allowed. My multiple other sites work. I've reset my router. I've tried to access it from 3 different laptops and my smartphone. I've let it sit on the white screen for 8 hours and nothing happens. I've refreshed. I've force refreshed. I've done everything I know to do and wordpress.com will not allow me to "Write", view "my sites", view "my reader". I can see if someone comments to a post of mine and can respond to them using the little bell on the top right corner. But that's it. I posted here yesterday...still no one has helped. I checked all your checklists to see if there was an outage or if it was me...it told me that it was me. I've done everything I know to do. I've been here on this particular blog for 11 months. I've never had a problem before this. I'm disappointed. I'm upset. And, honestly, I am angry. Please help me....someone. I've checked the forum for months back and I don't see any solutions to my problem. What is wrong? What is going on? How do I fix it?

Dear WordPress,

I've recently upgraded from a basic Android tablet to an iPad and I've noticed your app still sucks. Every time I try to edit a post, it gets republished for every single save I make. I suggest you fix this problem at once. I still think it's funny that you claim to be 'Happiness Engineers' when your platform has done nothing but bring me consistent misery from Day 1. May I recommend you go outside sometime and talk to some real people instead of hiding behind your little computers? Just a suggestion. Have a lovely day!

A friend tried to post a comment on my brand-new blog and was blocked because she does not have a WordPress account. Is there anything I can do to enable comments from readers without WordPress accounts? I'm on the Free plan; do I need to upgrade to Premium?

This is the 3rd time I've asked for help. I don't seem to be getting help. But I am really hoping someone can help.

I can access my stuff by wp-admin, however, if I try to "write", view my "reader", or go to "my site"...all I get it a white screen with the logo. I have let it sit for 8 hours and it never loaded. I have refreshed multiple times and it never loads. I have tried on 3 laptops and my smartphone it does the same thing on all of them. I do not know what is going on.

The last time these things loaded was December 30th. I can comment and respond via the little bell at the top right. I can post a blog by using the admin page. But I'd like to have the access to my page correctly.

Is there something I can do? Is this a wordpress issue? What is the deal? I really would like someone to help.

I am trying to change from self-hosted wordpress blog (through blue host, my self hosted package expired) to wordpress.com blog. When I try to follow the wordpress instructions, it says to go to the 'tools' section in the wp admin. I can't go to wp admin because I get the error this site could not be reached. hermadhope.com’s server DNS address could not be found. I need help transitioning back to wordpress.com

Hi!

Currently I have various different header images, and they are set to randomly appear on each of the different pages that site visitors may click on.

Just wondering if it is possible to assign specific header images to specific pages, rather than having them randomized?

(I realize that I could just select 1 single header image to appear on each of the pages of my site, but I'd like to use all of them to have more variety, yet control which image goes with which page.)

My homepage is suddenly blank. However, f I click on my main header with my site name it brings up the content. I dont know whats wrong?! I can tell something is wrong also because the two categories in the main header on the right arent showing up correctly when the page originally loads.

Hi everyone! We have a lot of feedback about stats winding through various threads. Let's go ahead and consolidate it here.

First and foremost, we're sorry for the inconvenience. Relatively few of you were using the older code, but if you were one of those people we can understand this isn't easy. Thanks for your patience here.

If there is a feature you were using in the retired stats and cannot find it in the current version, please share that here. We will do our best to count each person's comments if you'll avoid entering duplicates.

We do want to note, too, that many of the features requested in the other threads are actually available now. For example, many have said they no longer see their top posts or countries. Click on Weeks to see this week's top posts, top countries, etc. To see a different week, click on that week's bar from the Weeks view. You can do that on the Days / Months / Years tabs as well. Hopefully that will be a bit easier to navigate!

Also, if you are viewing data for multiple sites at once, you will see a more tabular format showing each site's stats for the current week/month/etc. But if you'll select a site (either by clicking on one site's stats or using "switch sites" on the sidebar menu) you can see graphs and maps for that site for each time period.

I have a cardmaking blog and do some affiliate linking. From what I'm understanding from the terms of use, I cannot have banner links on my sidebar with my affiliate link attached. If I upgraded to WordPress.com's Premium plan would I be able to have the banner links or do I just have to go to WordPress.org? Thanks!

Hello do you offer this? You can use another host if you prefer but they have to have cPanel and at least one utility like Softaculous or Quick Install.

The domain has to be added to the host and have matching DNS (domain name servers). The domain can't have any files or sites associated.

When you submit your application for a website to us, we will need the cPanel login link, username and password.

I have spent hours trying to upload images to my media library; the first 2 today worked perfectly fine. None have worked since then no matter what I try and the specs of the third image are identical to the two that were uploaded with no problems. I have spent 4 hours trying every fix the internet tells me and none have worked. I have enough space on my hosting and that server seems to be working fine; I have also tried changing permissions on the files and they were already what they should be. I am contacting bluehost as well; however I am able to upload files to my cpanel there without any problems and it is only in WP where I experience problems.
