Want to know how Microsoft does IT? IT Showcase is a preferred source of information technology expertise, straight from the top subject matter experts at Microsoft.
Each day our world creates new technology: devices, apps, and services. Which means new ways to do things, new ways to connect, new things to learn. While each holds the promise of helping us get more done with less effort, they also can become one more thing competing for our scarce time and attention.
That’s why we need to rethink the way we make technology, and not simply make more. We need to reinvent productivity. Microsoft is helping people achieve more by giving them the best possible tools for any moment.
In this context, Microsoft IT serves two roles:
we connect the company to make solutions and employees more productive.
we are the company’s first commercial customer, using all of our products and services to run Microsoft.
We use cloud computing as a transformative agent. We’re stewards of data so employees can make smarter, faster decisions using BI and Big Data. We innovate across our IT services portfolio using cloud, mobile, social, and security software and services. We manage it and provide feedback to Microsoft product engineering teams, and advocate for external customers. In the end, we showcase our work to the industry.
