Listen to the Golden Festival – Sat 6-9pm!

Coming up: Live broadcast from The Golden Festival this Saturday night (6-9pm) on Transpacific Sound Paradise with Rob Weisberg. It’s our ninth annual live broadcast from Brooklyn’s legendary Balkan and East European music and dance blowout at Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn’s South Slope. Some seventy bands will perform on four stages from 6 pm until the wee hours. We’ll bring you the night’s early action live from the Grand Ballroom, center stage of this fabulous Balkan bacchanal.

New Morning Show

WFMU is in the process of developing a new Morning Show to replace JM in the AM. From now until January 13th, Station Manager Ken is hosting the MondayFriday 6-9am slot (playlists & archives here). Beginning the week of Jan 16th, different DJs will audition for the on-air host slot of the Morning Show, with a host being hired sometime after the 2017 Fundraising Marathon. All playlists, archives and chat boards will be here. Tune in, log on, be nice — trying out for something live and on the air ain’t easy! And send any comments or suggestions about the Morning show to Station Manager Ken.
