Pre Update was best Pls undo everything with the exception of the video. I had this app for near 3yrs and love it, but the user friendliness is knocked down a few notches. Put everything back pls, all the way to the old notification speech balloon in upper left corner. Can't read the new one now. Everything. Wish i didnt update except for video which could be bigger

This app is perfect This app is amazing and is THE perfect messenger for friends and such. The convenience of searching up one's username is simple and sweet. Sure, there are some problems (the loss of conversations from resetting the app being a prime one), but they're so tiny that they rarely take you away from having a lovey experience. I highly recommend this app to everyone looking for a way to keep in contact with friends, locally or online.

Msg not send I love this app! And new video option it's awesome Using more than 3 years but since 2 days back facing issue when ever I send a picture to other its not delivering not even show sent icons that small S. But at other side my frnd can see the msg but when he sent me any msg it's not delivering to me. Please fix this bug. I dont want to move other apl

Kik Browser doesn't work anymore. Before whatever update removed it, I was able to meet new people to talk to through the Kik browser that would bring up a bunch of webpages made specifically for Kik. Now, you need to go to your web history to find these pages. However, when I click on these web pages, Kik opens up Chrome and uses Chrome to browse instead of Kik, and thus I cannot use the webpage because the site tells me that I need the Kik app to use it (when clearly I have.). I don't know if it's just me, but this just ruins the app me.

Used to be better I've been on this app with the same account since near the beginning of the app. I will say, sometimes it used to be better. Like when it didn't take a full GB of space on my phone, and wasn't crashing sometimes. Now, it's not sending me notifications when some of my friends text me on there. Especially one special person, whenever he sends me a text, it won't send a notification over half the time. I used to be able to talk to this person in real life, but now I can't because he moved. Please fix this.

Question Love this app, it helps me to connect with my friends that I have met online! I only have one question, could you make it to where if you block someone they cannot see your profile picture and even your name? I have people who have found my number and so they found my kik but i don't want them on my kik cuz they are creeps :/ If this happens i will definately rate all 5 stars this app deserves!!

Great👌 I have been using this app for years now and it has never failed to disappoint me. I don't personally enjoy the gifs and such, but I know quite a few people who do! I just wish there was a way to send gallery gifs.. But overall I give this app 5 stars, it's simple and easy to use. I use kik instead of normal phone massaging. I like to know when my messages have been delivered and read, it makes things easier.

Old kik was better. I've been using this app for a very long time now. And I gotta say, Old kik was a million times better than this. You could search for and join groups whenever you wanted and you got to meet cool people. Now there's the atrocity called Geeking where all of the f***boys go. Bring back the old kik.

More emojis plz Will there be more emojis? Halloween is still up. Last year we had Christmas ones and the penguins. This year nothing but a charity heart. Also would be amazing if you could select black or white as kik interface because the white is extremely bright but I also don't want to root my phone.

Needs New Thing this app should have an offline; online on this so that we know who's on so Ew don't just have to kik them and wait on a response but we don't get one and with it we will have conversations that we'll enjoy also this needs more emoji`s the one now... well they're okay but we need more options!!! Used to be the best for videos... The new update is a little boring but I don't mind it because it's still a great chatting app. Cool that you can vid chat now, haven't tried that yet. But I'm sad that it seems like the video messaging is limited now? :( I used to be able to send 2 min vids, now I can't even send one that is 43 seconds! Please fix, that was one of the best parts! :(

eh. Kik was great before, I loved it how it was for its simplicity and just doing its job perfectly fine. after the update there are so many issues; the bar gets annoying if you aren't used to it and will continue tapping on it by accident and everytime you do it would lag a bit. Also the white theme is rlly not idle for when you are using kik in dark environment for example night time as it starts to hurt just looking at what you are typing. there should be a feature to choose different themes.

Great App Love It! It's great to talk with friends and stuff. But the one thing i dont like is the Video Chat button placement. Just a suggestion but:Go back to the old way before Video Chat but if you tap the name/group title it brings up the "Leave Chat" and "View Members" but also a tab "Start Video Chat". Again,just a suggestion.

Great app This really is an easy quick way to text, especially with large groups! Since a recent update though, pictures received through chat have problems opening. A lot of times I have to close out and reenter the app to be able to click and open a picture. A feature I would love to see happen is customization of notifications!

BEST MESSENGER APP EVER This app is great for messaging your friends or family. The updates for the app just keeps getting better and better than the last. I can now video chat and its easier for me to find my friends.I recommend this app for people qho are looking for a messenger app that does more than that. Trust me you will LOVE IT.

Used to love this app.. The update is arguably the biggest eyesore in the history of these types of apps. It looks so odd with the new chat bubbles, it's just giving me this overwhelming impression its trying really hard to be Facebook Messenger. The new stickers and such are pointless. S/o for introducing video chat though.

Great app, but many bugs I love Kik for its simple chat features (and the easy gif finder) and I've used it for many years. However, the store simply does not work for me anymore and will always come up with an 'Oops' message, never mind how many times I press reload. This is also on the bot finder, but not on the sticker store, and has been a bug for about 4 months now. If you could fix that and let me buy more emoji things, that would be great and would be an easy 4/5 stars.

Update is horrible! Why is there camera bar now?! Every time I try to type it always brings it up and it lags whenever I want to put emojis on my text its annoying. Its still boring either way and bright as sunlight. New update with video chat now crashes every time making it useless to use. Uninstalling

Was close to perfect, new update not anymore I love kik, I loved everything it offered and didn't offer. But now after the update, every time I try and hit send, I hit that 9 squares icon which is where the send button used to be. I much much much prefer the + that used to be there. Maybe make it an option for the users? I prefer more screen to read messages instead of more buttons ready for use in one tap.

Boring and Block list fix asap please add voice notes Dont use it anymore might as well deleted it. the block list!!! People who are blocked can still see my profile picture. And still message me. If i block some1 i dont want them to see my pictrue n i want them to know they been blocked. We should have privacy we choose who can see our picture and who can't. Messages are NOT COMING Its so sad that I'm talking to someone so great and I have to always close the App and start it again for me to see if he sended me a message. And now is a habit doing that because thats the only way I get the messages. Please fix this problem because the habit is getting really annoying 😥😥😥

Suggestion The new video chat button needs to be moved. People are accidentally engaging video chats. My girlfriend accidentally just video chatted me while she was at work an her phone just started making noises of me saying "hello?" randomly in her office lol. Also the video chat windw is the size of a dime... How useless is that?? Make a proper video size otherwise it defeats the purpose. Right now it's essentially voice chat, not video.

I hate photos They have ruined photos. They new system is over complicated. It was so much better when u looked through gallery and had the option to go to google photos and view them, Now is all in files and not only is not user friendly, but there is less u can do.

Bad placing I love that we can video chat now. But the button is horribly placed. No one wants to accidentally video chat someone while they're singing to themselves. And the view is bad. You can only see the other person through a very tiny circle there should be an option to enlarge it.

I love this app I've had it for years. One issue. The new update released a video chat setting but it's to hard to see the person or people ur video Calling . I suggest you guys add an option to see the video chat bigger or smaller depending on the users choice. You guys should also add in a mute setting to it. PLEASE THINK ABOUT IT.

The new update I don't like the new update with the Video Chat. Every time I want to go into someone's profile to check their picture, I accidentally tap on the Video Chat button and find myself video chatting with people i don't want to video chat with. It is kinda in the way because it happens every time. I wish they could put the Video Chat an option in the bar down below where the camera is. For example, you could tap on the camera icon, then it gives you options in *Camera/Video *Video Chat. It would be so better.

So could you fix this? It's easy for your thumb to just slide across it accidently. Adding some sort of verification asking if you wanna actually do it would be useful. Also, the box you type in doesn't really move when i type anymore. I sort of regret updating tbh.

One star from newest update. The latest update that includes video chat has so much lag. If I force close the app it runs fine for a while but goes back to being laggy after a couple minutes. The lag is when I send messages, it takes a couple seconds to send after I hit the send button. It's very annoying.

This app use to be decent but now its plagued with spam bots and ads. Its crashes often and the kik points you use to buy certain emotioncons are now deleted after a period of time rendering kik points useless. I suggest using some other messaging app like telegram or something.

Update Kinda Sucks Ever since I updated my kik has always been crashing. I send a message and most of the time it says sent or ... which results in a maybe 5 minute or more lag. I like the video option, but how do you make that bigger? The background bothers me since it's white and the bubble that is responding to me is also white. The kik update is eh, could be better. Please fix the crashing and the lag.

Update terrors My phone did a system update recently. Before the update kik worked beautifully I couldn't have asked for better. After the update, zero. Not working period just shuts down without even attempting a boot up. Currently reinstalling to see if that fixes it. Update on this too come shortly... :Update: after a third time of the uninstall/reinstall cycle kik works beautifully once again! Back to five stars with ye!

too much space and it looks like facebook okay first of all, too much space is taken up if you have this app for a really long time. i also hate the new look it looks super like Facebook messages bullcrap and i rather not. the old look was better and we all know it.

Solid app EDIT: Issue seems to have been resolved. Formerly decent app, but I've had an issue for several months with not receiving notifications until several hours after someone sends a message (and sometimes not being notified at all!) Pretty sure it's the app and not my phone as other notifications are coming in on schedule.

I have had kik for the longest time. It is a great app but for some reason it's not letting me upload anymore profile photos. I can try to reinstall it but it's just more difficult that way. It's a great app if you actually have friends though. 9/10 recomendation

Um why??? I really like this app, but I was going through my storage on my phone the other day and it found out it takes 0.98GB of storage data on my phone. WHY IS THIS??? IT'S JUST A MESSAGING APP. I might actually end up deleting it just for this reason. Also, the new video chat is a cool idea, but video chat kind of involves being able to see the video. New update makes the UI pretty bad The app functions fine for the most part. Hashtag groups have yet to be readded, but that's another story. The latest update adds a few UI changes that aren't so good. First of all, the bubbles are too rounded, and there's no way to make them how they used to be. Now when you open a thread, everything is white, which is painful to look at. The smileys have been moved to a more inconvenient spot is another thing. The scroll bar is also gone, which is stupid. Every other app has the thing for a reason, fix it

Pretty good. Sometimes it crashes randomly on my S4. I like the video feature, but wish I could make the small chat bubble bigger. I also wish it wouldn't throw my video bubble off screen so I could see if my camera is still pointing where it should. It would be nice to be able to flip from my front camera to the back camera on my phone as well.
