4+ years and just now rated I've been using this app for years and love it. Has a easy to use browser and searching menus. Download for offline listening option. Very customizable, Only a short add between podcast. I'm very happy with it made even better that it hasn't cost a penny even tho it's easily worth $5. Thank you stitcher team you should be proud. PS I have no connection to them, my joy is sincere as a user.

Quite nice! The thing I don't like is how it always shows the most recent episodes first and so if you are starting from the beginning you have to scroll all the way down which is a pain when working your way through a huge backlog. Perhaps there is a way around this that I just haven't realized. There are other things I could say but really it is a great app for organizing and listening to podcasts. While it isn't perfect it is the app that I have found is best for listening to the many podcasts I listen to.

Annoying Great podcast selection. But one major thing bothers me. I'm okay with having commercials in my podcasts, but when the commercial is over, please resume the podcast that I was listening to at the spot that I was on before the commercial. I will listen to something, get a commercial, and after the commercial is over, it starts a completely different podcast that I have never heard of. I close that one out, go back to the one I was at before and it starts all over again instead of where I left off. Annoying

Skipping fixed by setting My podcasts used to skip every 5 minutes, then I got a response from stitcher that recommended I enable 'Download before playing'... This fixed the issue, great! Haven't tried playing without the setting in the new version. Also, they FINALLY fixed the widget sizing issue, thank you!!

As long as you know what you're looking for Although, I love the sleep feature. The search feature is frustrating. I can't find single episodes of podcasts with specific people on them. If I type in a name it shows me results for the separate words not the singular entity, unless they have a podcast.

Arbitrarily skips to different episodes This app will run full page ads while you're listening "offline" and then skip to a completely different episode of a show. Also does use tons of memory for offline listening...whether set to wifi only or not...read other reviews. It's a common problem fix it...there are plenty of podcast apps

Stitcher does not download episodes via cellular network when WiFi Download Only is enabled. Content inturrupted and not re-started Along with generally un-impressive user friendliness, the adds interrupt the audio content, and then don't return you to what you were listening to. So you have to pull out your device and search through your list, just to finish the podcast.
Lisa Since the upgrade, the app fails a lot more than before. It's a good app, but there are too many ads. These full page ads pop up way too often and are annoyingly intrusive. Please fix this.

Stitcher includes a 4x1 Widget. Used to enjoy this app I've endured the annoying skipping issues for a year but now the premium kills it for me. I can't listen to most of my podcast offline at all or at least without annoying ads. Sorry guys I've chosen to uninstall.
Better now There were some major issues a few months ago that had been going on for a few months. Deleted the app then recently downloaded to see if they had been fixed. All seems good again. Living without my podcasts was getting hard.
Used to be great now it sucks Keeps skipping the podcasts right in the middle of me listening to it. most recently it keeps ending the podcast and makin me restart the whole episode. So i have to find where i left off.. super annoying. Not to mention it goes into offline mode for no reason, when i have wifi and unlimited data.. very annoying Will be deleting and finding a better podcast app.
STITCHER ADD an EXIT Button So annoying trying to exit your app you have to go to the top left, then settings, then logout. Just add an exit app function using the android back button on the phone or some simple way to exit out please, then I'll rate 5 stars. ** Your app doesn't exit out by tapping repeatedly on the back button, it continues to play in the background, Coast to Coast app exits properly with the back button, 5 stars, stitcher, 3 stars.**

Tap the back button repeatedly if necessary to exit the app and/or swipe closed the app from the activity stack. The application process is designed to run at all times and will automatically re-launch as needed. Was much better before premium Don't trust this company. Every new update invalidates your downloaded content, it's still on your phone taking up space, but the app pretends it's not there and goes off your data. Pure class.
Why don't my podcasts load? Some of my podcasts have stopped downloading properly. Science Friday loads hour 1 but hour 2 may show up days later if at all. Another podcast no longer loads when released, but might show up over the weekend. It's like having a candy bar stuck in the machine except I can't even kick it. What's up?
Will re-rate if the update is fixed. Not the first time the app has updated to the point that is doesn't work. Last time it took them weeks to fix. App goes to offline mode for no reason interrupting podcast and not saving your spot. Force stopping fixes the problem but only for about 5 minutes. Love this app when they aren't trying to improve it.... UPDATE: I've been waiting over a month for a fix and it's not getting better. Have officially moved on to a new streaming app.
Premium is a rip off $34 or £33!! , I don't think so, seeing what other Apps are available now that Stitcher is just an ad generator :(
Used to be good Constantly interrupts a podcast to play an ad then doesn't restart where you left off and starts playing some random podcast from ones you are subscribed to which is extremely annoying. This is a rather new issue with the app.
Perfect app except that it auto connects to Bluetooth and overrides app close on my S7. Love it, all my podcasts in one simple to use interface. Problem though is it is always running. I will shut down and close background app and it still overrides my Pandora Bluetooth connection in my truck. The app will just turn on when my phone automatically connects to Bluetooth. I hate that to the point I've been looking for new app to use. Very frustrating
You made it worse It used to be great. Almost perfect, but since the premium version came out they really screwed up the app. Downloads are interrupted when the phone goes to sleep. Only way to get them to work is to keep the app open an keep touching the screen to not let it go to sleep. Also now it randomly finishes the podcast in the middle and then i have to start over (redownload as well) and start over.

How come some podcasts in listen later are unavailable while I'm offline? I thought the whole point of putting one in listen later was to be able to listen to it while away from WiFi or where there is no service at all. Never seen this problem until now.
Work great most of the time The sound and features are good but on occasion it just stops workinorg. I am not sure if it my note os or a setting in combination but of a 100s of apps I have the is the only one that acts up. I updated the software to the latest version hopefully the will connect the occasional error message and app from stopping
Unlistenable Constantly skips forward an back during shows. It's been doing this for months, and I guess they don't care.
Annoying Good selection of podcasts but the interface is bad, search is poor and the listen later/downloading constantly fails to work which is the main feature I need from it. Definitely looking for a different app now..
Offline listening using data Just updated app and now it downloads shows using data when I have my settings to download with Wi-Fi only and on offline mode when playing back downloads it is using my data. Terrible update all around. Used to love this app.

Stitcher does not download episodes via cellular network when WiFi Download Only is enabled. Zig Ziglar Podcast I listen to the Zig Ziglar and Brian Buffini podcasts daily. They are incredible position podcasts to help you reach your goals. Are you contributing to your community or just taking up space?
Nothing noteworthy I tried the premium trial, and though i love the content included now that howl is included i just cant get into the ui. I find the player so tedious to navigate its just not worth the price. Will come back to it and see someday if they improve the ui, but sticking with my non stitcher app for now.
This app is very buggy. I love that it offers so many podcasts but what good is that when it constantly freezes while you're listening or simply won't start. This happens whether I'm on data or wifi. Love the content, frustrated by the bugs.
Somethings up This app went down hill fast. Add another one to the "this update sucks" pile. It seems they've made a bad error in judging how unusable they should make the free version. I'll leave it on my phone for a while but it I'm looking for a replacement now.
Buggy I mainly listen over Bluetooth in my car. Every single time I start playing it the podcast will pause within 30 seconds requiring me to get my phone back out. This has been a problem for over 2 years with multiple phones and vehicles. Latest update continues playing the podcast after I disconnect from Bluetooth in my pocket making me lose my place by sometimes hours. If these things were fixed I would give 5 stars.
Buggy Commercial bug. My podcast episodes are not finishing when an ad ends. It skips to a different podcast or just stops completely. Very frustrating

Your playback woes are caused by direct-streaming providers who dynamically insert advertisements into their audio streams. Update to Stitcher version 3.5.9 and contact [email protected] if the problem has not been resolved.

Oh My Goooddd I'm fed up with Stitcher What the the hell Stitcher! Ever since you added advertising, the advert cuts in and the podcast stops and doesn't resume, so I press play and the ad plays again and so on, so then I have to restart the pod! And it's been like this for ages. And many of the comments are about this problem as well! I really want to use Stitcher, that's why I come back every week to see if you've fixed it. Come on now sort it out it's such a silly bug!!!!
Why Why the download sign has gone? Some people aren't on a data, plan you know... Bring it back and will give five stars...

Stitcher 3.8 displays green heard status dots instead of the green download arrow badge. New update now .it says error with the buffering can't listen to my podcast 1 star until they fix the problem it was working fine before the update so what the heck
Has all my shows, but... The app will randomly skip to to the next pod in the que, without saving my progress on the one I was listening to. Happens everyday and is really frustrating
Horrible I used to love this app, but now skips constantly. More ads, and none of the podcasts they offer ad free for a premium price are worth listening to.
This apps sucks! New episodes take longer to appear that other podcast services. Notifications suck. This app is worse than Google Music
Awful data usage It used 2 gigs of data in a hour show and kept freezing and trying to take me into offline mode and then would restart the podcast
Such a rough UI This UI is terrible to navigate. Stitcher makes asinine recommendations like "Alex Jones Show." App sends me way too many push notifications. Sometimes audio files will not load or buffer, sometimes the wrong episode plays, sometimes podcasts are interrupted with Stitcher's own commercials and ads. Oh yeah, then there's the ads they spam to your screen while navigating. Speaking of navigation, there is no auto complete on searches or suggestions while searching. App is unforgivably amateur.
Skips!!! When are they going to tackle the big elephant in the room? FIX THE SKIPPING ISSUE!!! please.
